Any retro gear that you guys miss? I miss having the PlayStation 2, which may have inspired me to make this thread the most. The kick-butt soundtrack, the patience it took to aquire every license. 8-)

And I remember playing The Incredibles and failing a lot. I also remember getting to play it recently when a friend brought his PlayStation 2 to school. Also member playing a game with the EyeToy. Good times. ^_^

I 'member playing CoD Black Ops on my Wii and killing myself occasionally which was totally hilarious. The Wii was nice until Nintendo went and discontinued WiiConnect24, then brought out the Wii U, and how that was just a wet fart. Not quite the same as the original Wii, I say.

And is it just me or does television not seem the same anymore? 'Cause all the way up to around the 2010's, at least what I watched, I enjoyed it better. I had grand ol' time watching vintage VHS Cassettes of classic series and movies. There's just a certain atmosphere I get inserting a VHS Cassette to watch the grainy display above. 8-)

I also 'member all the good times I had with WinXP before it got stolen. All the games I played, the couple of Emulators I played and tried to download and CD-ROM's I used when I was very, very young. 'Member all the times I'd play Pinball and downloads of what I'd find on the Web.

Everybody seems to love Win7 now. It's nice, I guess. But I like how the design resembles more of a window that any other WinOS I've used.

If there is any other vintage stuff I should know about, lemme know. I may modify this post later so stay tuned later...maybe.

I remember playing Sonic Heroes and Motor Racer on a very old computer we used to have. Heroes is a bit more finicky in terms of controls/polish then I remembered it after playing it again recently, but I've had a blast with it then and now, with the final boss sticking out in particular when I first played it. My best memory from Motor Racers is racing with mini dirt bikes on the Great Wall of China. Miniclip games were also fun. Windows XP also makes me very nostalgic (anyone else remember that desktop background?).

I have a graphite-colored Game Boy Advance SP which still works now, though the R button is a bit worn in. Avatar: The Last Airbender, Dynasty Warriors Advance, Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga & LSW: The Original Trilogy, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, etc. are all quite fun. Perhaps I'll try a Pokemon game sometime...

Beating Adventure Mode in Super Smash Bros. Melee and not knowing Giga Bowser was a thing was an awesome experience. Super Mario Sunshine is awesome, but I don't have any compatible controllers, so I can't play it anymore, for now. Mario Kart: Double Dash also brings back memories.

Just a couple years ago, I completed The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time using Project 64. I think I played The Wind Waker HD before that, but either way, no Zelda game has hit me like OOT has. I think it's actually my favorite game ever, but then again there's a lot of games out there. :P

I agree with you on television. There's nothing I'm really interested in watching, except for one show. Everything else, including news, can be accessed through the Internet now.

I could keep going on, since I've also played lots of other games then and now, but I think this post is long enough as is.

NES, SNES, N64. Also played some Game Boy Color games, my best memory is of Link's Awakening DX, that I played on our vacation in Poland. A classmate had a SEGA console, can't remember which one though.

Watching movies on VHS was fun, and listening to music you had recorded on your cassettes.

The first computer we had came with Windows 3.X, and we had it for a long time. I remember classmates having Windows 98, and we hadn't even made the transfer to 95 yet.
