You maybe don't know, but anti virus is crucial on a Mac, even more than it is on Linux. It's really the very reason those exist at all! The days of "only Windows needs a condom before going online" are long over, now every OS can have viruses. Fact remains that most PC-user viruses are for Windows, but it doesn't automatically mean that Linux, macOS, Android, and iOS are totally virus-free. |

Additionally, there are some brickers to consider, though they're only affecting Homebrew-enabled devices, and are mostly PEBKAC, anyway, |

Posted by Super Hackio 328 threats found =/= 328 viruses. We have Bitdefender on our desktop PC, and dad installed Avira on the laptop he passed down to me. It likes telling me the 'latest trends' in malware every now and then. |
