Alright, I have a week off soon. My plan:

-Steal my 2GB SD card from my 3DS, and back it up.
-Set up Smash Stack
-Re-download Riivolution, and prepare for launching.
-Launch Smash Stack

If it doesn't work...

-Return SD card to normal
-Find out what went wrong

If it does,

-Install Riivo, but exit
-Return my 2 GB SD card to normal, and give it back to my 3DS.
-Load Project Kaizo onto my 10 GB SD card (Smash Stack fails for SD cards of that size)
-Enter SMG2 into my Wii U
-Play

Eventually, I'll turn my daredevil code on, but I want to beat the game naturally first.

Try 1: Softlock when stage attempted to load

Try 2: worked fine.

Reinstalling Riivolution was a complete success.

Now, I just have to download it, and I should be good (thought I did that already, but no big deal.)

A solid minnute of loading, the pack is huge.

BUT IT WORKED!



Starship Mario

-Were the edits necessary? Seems odd to me.

Sky Station 1:

-a backwards somersalt at the beginning skips the entire first planet.

-also... the teleporters/sling star on planet 2 are... ?

-Finally, the last two planets are unchanged. At least remove the life shroom, really?

Yoshi Star 1:

-Hug the left wall to survive. Unfair, but no big deal.

-The octo-things aren't actually a threat.

-Rainbow Star? Why? It's more than enough time to kill the big goombas

-Last planet has seemingly no change. Reason?

Sky Station 2

-Zero changes after planet 1. You're kidding, right?

Spin-Dig 1

-Alright.

-Drilling through the planet has a 100% chance of taking damage due to cosmic clones, but you probably knew that.

-The second planet is insane, especially since the clones knock out the drill, so... the intended way doesn't work.

-But, the Cosmic Medal platform is close... can you get from there to the launch star?

-Backward somersalt? nope, not high enough.

-Triple jump? GOOD LUCK. WITH THAT.

-Only solution I could find was backwards somersalt + damage bounce, which I was unable to pull off.

-You tested to make sure Mario could make that... Right?

Overall: Underwhelmed. But, Spin Dig is fun.

Wild Glide & Fleet Glide

Those I recommend you to try.

If you have precision platforming with a rock mushroom... spinning is pretty much instant death.

sorry but this hack is not very well done. The later galaxies have really lazy edits for example he didn't even edit grand master and the final bowser galaxy he only added a time limit and daredevil no other edits.

Also flips swap galaxy crashes the game and the "kaizo challenge land" (which is a shitty name btw) is horribly designed and doesn't even have any music

Sorry just being honest lol. I like your ambition but it kinda seems like you half assed a lot of the levels

I never used infinant Cosmic clones. 20 is the default (I think)

Kaizo Challenge land is not the best name, but there should be flip-swaps music playing. odd BUG COUNT = 1
I did edit grandmaster. the edits are at the end
Some galaxys couldn't handle edits, just know that. Bowsers galaxy generator & Grandmaster couldn't handle my edits.
flip-swap galaxy crashes? BUG COUNT = 2

I am sorry to say that for the most part, I dislike this hack. However, I do like the ambition.


Sky Station and Yoshi Star were pretty easy (you can avoid doing the rock into in Yoshi Star fairly easily) and Sky Station lagged a lot.
Spin Dig was okay, the cosmic clones did make it hard, but after dying on the boss they dissapeared, so that was fine.
Your custom galaxy could definitely be better, and the dash/bulb berry was confusing. I just infinite fluttered instead.
Rightside Down was interesting. I liked the bombs.
Beat Block was fun, I guess. Not that terrible.
Flipsville I couldn't activate the launch star, so I just did the speedrun thing and long jumped over to the later part.
Space Storm had good ideas in star 2. should have made all the timers short.
Sweet Mystery was alright, I had some fun with the dash pepper.
Shiverburn I couldn't complete the first part, but just that made it the best level in the hack.
Rolling Coaster was also good, I liked that idea a lot.
Twisty Trials and Stone Cyclone were easy, although I was really hoping there would be something else changed other than just auto moving.
Slipsand was bleh for the first star, but the second one at the end was good. You did well with the sand bird.
Grandmaster Galaxy was a huge disappointment. It was far too easy for the end of a "Kaizo" hack. There were only edits in the last two sections, and the second to last didn't make it that much harder. The Perfect Run was easier than The Ultimate Test, when I played through them.
Final Bowser I did like. It should have been edited more, but I like the daredevil timed for it.
Melty Molten and Supermassive had the add on parts, and I did like them. Supermassive just needs a better camera (and yeah I know its hard, but I let it slide. Its still one of the better levels)
Oh, and Chompworks crashed for me. (as did flip swap but you know that issue :P )

Fluff Bluff, Bowser Jr 1, Puzzle Plank, Boulder Bowl, Cosmic Cove, Bowser 1, Cloudy Court, Haunty Halls, Rolling Masterpiece, Bowser Jr 2, Starshine Beach, Bowser 2, Boo Moon, Upside Dizzy, Clockwork Ruins, Boss Blitz had nearly nothing changed, and were still really easy.

(if I forgot to mention a galaxy, I probably didn't get to playing it. I might update this later though)

Your idea of making a full game hack of more difficult levels was a good idea, but it wasn't nearly as hard as I assume you were hoping for. I wouldn't really call this Kaizo. The few levels I said were good I did enjoy, and would think would be better suited for a revamp in difficulty and put into a one world hack instead. However, even if it wasn't nearly complete in my opinion, it definitely had good ideas and had new things, such as the auto move mechanic. I think if you put more time into levels, you would have a very good hack here. Potential is there. And thank you for not letting galaxy hacking completely die out.

Edit: Also, is it really necessary to make Riivolution load all the objects? It would make sense to make riivolution only load the objects that it needs to, so it doesn't have that minute long load time.

Honestly, I'm not too proud of it either. But this was more of a "Let's see what we can do" test that I decided to release as a hack. I am thinking about Updating it to be better, now that I know more of what I'm doing, but I won't do it for a while.
Supermassive was my first time doing custom cameras.

I think that there is problems getting only needed objects to load, so I think I played it safe.

I need to fix the crashes though.
