Super Mario Mushroom Madness aims to be a full game hack of New Super Mario Bros. Wii, built using the Newer SMBW engine. Here is the latest trailer of the hack:

As a little backstory:

This hack was originally called Ultimate Super Mario Bros. Wii, but, I found that name uncreative. The hack was pretty bad to start off with, but now it has been heavily improved upon and while still needs some polishing, does not need the same number of changes suggested by posters within the thread at the start of development.

Any feedback is welcome.

Looks better than what you showed us at RHCafe, that's for sure.

It looks okay, but I think you need to do the following things:

- Make sure every level has a theme. The theme should be a gimmick, or sometimes even an enemy. Pick around 3/4 main enemies.

- On some levels, introduce a twist on the gimmick halfway through.

- Make sure the level increases in difficulty overall, but has little breaks for the player to get a powerup.

- Please fix your coin arcs. Remember that Mario can jump over around 5 blocks when running, and 4 blocks when walking. Coins should only be used to lead the player, and as bonus/decoration coins. Make sure Mario can actually get them, and he doesn't need to jump at a specific angle to get them.

- Don't make your level kaizo by placing enemies in awkward spots.

- You need to put more creative bonus areas in your levels, along with a bit more blocks. Also, try to have the terrain not be flat and boring. Add decorations, and add slopes/mountain ledges to spice the level up a bit.

Thanks for the feedback. I will be working hard on making changes to my levels :)

Just finished making a new song for the hack

It's a remix of MKDS DK Pass.

Well, this is probably not needed, but here is a new video:

It's some weird glitch in World 1-1, where there are invisible blocks that I never placed in the editor. It was also posted on my let's play channel for some reason.

Huh, that's so strange o_O It's really good seeing some people are still hacking NSMBW though, so good luck with your hack and I look forward to playing it! ^_^

That would be greatly appreciated if you could help as a level designer. I will remember that I will get your application on March 7. I am not using any custom tilesets at the moment, but I am looking for people who can make them. If you know anybody who can make custom tilesets, let me know. Thanks :)

I meant an actual level, not this application thingy.

I mean your application level, sorry for the miscommunication. (Application levels can be levels you've already made)
