she won't belittle her opponents as "fake news"

That's exactly what she would do. "Fake news" was mainly pushed by liberal-leaning groups and media organizations to discredit opposing political opinions, until it was smartly co-opted by progressives and Trump supporters.

or personally attack their credentials

Bernie supporters were relentlessly attacked and smeared with names like "Bernie Bros". Trump supporters got the same treatment, including being called "deplorable". I wouldn't put that past her either.

What WAS categorized as fake news by the liberal-leaning groups anyway?

If they're categorizing Fox as fake news, then they're wrong. It's just that Fox lie and distort, but they don't totally make crap up.

As for "Bernie Bros." and "deplorables", those are personal attacks, but they aren't attacks on credentials like John Lewis and that judge who was called "so-called". I don't condone personal attacks, but those particular attacks on big figures is bad, bad, bad.

There were some legitimate fake news outlets, mixed in with progressive and anti-war sources.

Well, I also recall Hillary insinuating Bernie was unqualified to be president, along with a chorus of liberal media voices. And speaking of John Lewis and impugning credibility, he lied about Bernie's civil rights record in order to boost Hillary. So the liberals have a big problem too.

Shibboleet, I don't think children these days will ever get to learn C++ anymore, seeing how Microsoft keeps pushing C#, Apple keeps pushing Swift, and everyone else keeps pushing Java, nowadays...

IDK Yami, a lot of kiddos I know often move onto using c++ after using something like python or c# for a while. Sometimes its slower and sometimes its faster, some times it never happens at all. However it seems to be fairly common afaict, which is a good thing imo since I don't want javascript desktop apps with crap like electron.

The best you'll get out of the kids I know is filling a batch file with green text and claiming to be 'hacking'.

Almost as bad as those who 'hack' using inspect element.

But Idk, online nowadays I see a spike in those wanting to learn Python rather than C++ which is definitely interesting.

I went directly to C++, mostly because it's applicable to console homebrew / ASM hacks and not just desktop apps. It still is my go-to language for desktop apps, because I've liked it enough to have no reason to go to Python. I definitely don't want to use C#. because it seems to be pretty cumbersome to use on Linux.

C# on linux is ok for smaller things like commandline programs and such, but anything more complex doesnt work that greeat because of monos limitations. For cross platform development your best bet is almost always c++ with qt (because gtk2 is getting a bit outdated, dont know much about gtk3 tbh). A lot of the people switching from python and such to c++ often tell me its for better control over how things work and not needing to be tied to the python interpreter (or windows/mono in the case of C#).

Eh, GTK3 isn't as radically different from GTK2, I've switched between the 2 quite easily.
And there's also a C# version of GTK, its compiler will still output .exe files, but you won't be able to run them on Windows, they'll be Linux-only instead, I think.

I've been trying to learn C++, really.

Colors look awkward in the image for some reason, looks right when I PrintScreen it and paste in either Paint or GIMP but saving it seems to change them a bit, but either way, I did say I was going to make a theme for Kuribo64 (if possible) didn't I? I grabbed the CSS from the Nostalgia theme and I'm messing with it a bit to see more-or-less how it would look best, it's supposed to be a very simplistic theme. I wanted to know your guys' opinions on this.

I like the rain.

I would use it as it is right now.
(The BG isn't as busy as nostalgia and is blue)

Perhaps a different subliminal rain image?
It sort of looks like painting/canvas which I feel odd (due to the mellow look)

I don't remember why, considering I also dislike driving and avoid it as much as possible, but regardless, you're welcome :P

From What I learned, C# is faster that C++. (I know both. XP) Although I can't see a difference because my computer is fast! XD

I remember having a difficult time before, trying to find good rain images on the internet. I have a few saved so I'll experiment a bit with some GIMP filters and the like, but I'm not sure if I'll find anything much better.

EDIT: Yep, can't really do much about it unless I find another (better) rain image, which is more difficult than you'd think for whatever reason. :(

Hey, nice seeing you driving then! I myself think that I'll always use public transportation or walking, but it's not like I really need to go to all sorts of places anyway. :P

Somewhat related, recently my father is training a bit with driving as he's planning to get a driver's license sometime this year and he's actually doing quite well from what he said. He lives a few ways from here so I haven't got the chance to see it exactly.

I don't think so. C++ is compiled directly to machine code, C# is compiled to .NET bytecode that must be interpreted by a VM. Even though the VM is pretty well optimized, it's still an extra layer of abstraction that C++ doesn't have.

Although it mostly depends on how you code. C/C++ requires you to take care of memory usage for example, not doing it properly causes memory leaks.

Then there's the cutting-edge modern C++ crap. I generally prefer keeping things low-level as I know better what happens behind the scenes. And C++ is originally a low-level language, attempts at making it high-level don't work too well.
