Hey, so I know absolutely nothing about hacking or modding N64 ROMS. Just getting that out of the way first.
I was wondering if it would be at all possible to add voices to a playable version of Ocarina of Time. Nothing else in the game would be changed, just that. I don't even know if it's possible! If it is possible: what editor should I use? Would I need to learn how to code? Would the audio files be too big to fit? Has this already been done? I could use some help if you want to work on this project, but I can probably do it by myself. Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks! |

I don't know about any of this but... I'm pretty sure this will require a bunch of ASM, hex editing, etc. And voice acting for the entire game will DEFINITELY not fit into the original rom. It may have to be expanded, but I'm not sure how/if that works. ____________________ No, not doing SM64DS hacking, just here for the waffles. |
