Posted by LeftyGreenMario I actually believe voting a female president, just because she's a female, is feminist and/or sexist. I don't want to rate people based on their race, sex, or anything like that, I want to rate people on what they want to achieve, and on trust. Trump and Hillary were a bit similar with a couple of points, but Trumps foreign policy is still less insane as Hillarys, for example. |

Where exactly did I say that feminism is sexism?
I said "and/or" for a reason... |

I obviously meant to mention them as separate entities, not as a single entity. |

I've always heard about a supposed layout maker that ABXD had but I've never personally seen it, I just know you guys hated it (probably for good reasons).
SMWC had an outdated bad layout generator so one day I made a new one and called it Layout Maker XP because I'm original and creative and such and yeah so if you want to provide feedback about it I'd appreciate it, even though it's technically not made for the same website, shush (though it's easy to just rewrite a few things and make it work here). I already know the UI sucks, but I haven't yet decided how I can improve it exactly. I was thinking about making a CSS theme for Kuribo64 that was rain-based ala Pinstripe Blue too if I could. I don't exactly have the resources ready of course but that's where the creativity process begins (at least, that's how I found it worked when I worked on previous stuff). So...could I? Music I'm hearing right now is this one. I'd post this on the music thread but i'm too lazy to post there, just better to put it all in one post I guess just wanted to say hi too, I haven't talked much in here recently and I never really felt like I belonged here, but hey I still pop in from time to time right |

the layout maker was meant to be an easy way for people to make post layouts, but in the end everybody picked a preset and barely changed it (or sometimes, didn't change it at all).
in the end, pretty much everyone admitted that the layout maker was bad and shouldn't be provided, or should be revamped. the only person who still persists on providing said layout maker is the same person who keeps making a new derpboard every day. you guessed, Jamie the nolife with a billion names. ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

Posted by Yami So ignore her criminal history and scandals and vote for the solemn reason that she's a woman? I understand woman want to break the glass ceiling, but voting for somebody with the sole intent to just have a woman president is...questionable. ____________________ a |

Which is why I said it's a feminist and/or sexist thing to do.
If I were to pick a president, prime minister, or whoever else, I'd rather look at standpoints that directly relate to me, not to the gender, skin colour, or age of a given person... |

Voting for a female person because she's female tokenizes women and I have to agree with Yami that the intention is rather sexist. The person should be qualified to run for president, and if the qualifications are met, then we can look at gender and stuff, and hope females break through the glass ceiling.

Don't like politics? Too bad, it's-a Mario time. Level: 82 Posts: 907/2062 EXP: 5073334 Next: 135893 Since: 03-14-16 From: Stabbing Wario Last post: 389 days ago Last view: 388 days ago |
For starters, feminism means equal treatment for the sexes. It's not "feminist" to vote for Clinton because she's female, and it is not feminist to favor women in custody. I find it silly how you say "feminist and/or sexist" when the two are generally mutually exclusive. Sure, something can be interpreted as feminist OR sexist, like Bayonetta, who is subject to those camera angles but is in charge what's going on (feminists like empowerment). But those are actually pretty opposing terms.
The only, only reason I'd vote Hillary is that she probably won't run a cluster cockadoodle administration like Trump is doing right now and when she does something controversial, she won't belittle her opponents as "fake news" or personally attack their credentials. |

Posted by LeftyGreenMario Then why did nobody say so, to begin with? As you already know, English is not my native tongue, I genuinely had no idea feminism means sex equality... |
