I'm not excited for the Switch, personally. I feel like a BETA tester for Switch games. Half of the decent launch window games I pretty much already own on Wii U, and I am likely to have to buy them all again on Switch for full price.

Fire Emblem: now the source of my many disappointments. Sigh. Can't say I'm liking that series.
The Switch has a pretty abysmal line-up, with Breath of the Wild being, like, the only worthwhile launch I've seen. ARMS is motion control, the other 1 2 Switch thing is some gimmick thingy that goes for a whopping 40 dollars. Wow. The best part is the the renders from Super Mario Odyssey! I love the hair! |

First time watching super mario odyssey trailer i was like: "wtf is this shit, looks stupid", but after watching it 3 times, it actually looks really interesting, its not the mario games we're used to, where different themes were all very similar to eachother, this new mario seems to have really different settings. The only thing i don't like is the art style of the city buildings and a few textures which seem too dark and grey for a mario game. |

City textures look all right, but I can't believe your first impressions were "looks stupid". I still think myself that the desert looks pretty bad right now. Mostly orange; yeah, it looks really flat and ugly. It's that desert we've seen from the Switch reveal.

I am actually there currently. I went to the inauguration and it was, uh, interesting. Literally every time Hillary Clinton showed up on screen, the whole crowd booed and yelled profanities. It was kind of humorous but very disrespectful. But this is the general public, so what can you expect?
