To be fair, 75 mb is the MAX. According to the source, the consumption is "significantly less", so in reality, it might not be so bad.

I just tried Super Mario Run (yep, I now have an iPhone, because Apple Pay and SUICA), and there are many lies I want to debunk about it.

The first lie is the release date.
It was supposed to come out on the 15th, but it just came out some hour(s) ago, and it's the 16th right now. This is not a lie for those of you in Europe or America, however.

The second lie is the price.
It's available for free, but with paid DLC.
Correction: The first 3 levels are for free, after that, you'll need to pay 1200 Yen to unlock the rest.
So this one wasn't a lie, after all...

The third lie is the data downloads.
It did download at the very beginning, but it hardly felt like 75 MB at all.

I only can't debunk anything regarding the online stuff, since I didn't see that for myself yet.

75MB may be a lot, depending on what the limits of your data plan are.

I haven't purchased it, but I did try it out on my iPad for a bit. It feels kind of mediocre to be honest. There's definitely replayability if you decide to get all of the pink, purple, and black coins available in each level, and they can be pretty challenging, especially the latter.

But of course while I was playing, my instinct of playing Mario for years makes me want to jump on enemies and over pits, and it took a while to get used to the fact that Mario does this automatically. All in all it just makes me wish I was playing an actual Mario game. It's definitely not as bad as I thought, though.

My advise is to not pay for it.
The difficulty level will remain the same, and the levels beyond the first 3 are boring, anyway.

I mean, it's Toadette's first playable appearance in a platformer.

That alone is fricking amazing.

Too bad the base game is very very eh.

I was certainly surprised to see that Peach and Toadette were playable. All the playable character choices were pretty good, and the only other one I would have loved to see is Wario.

Dear Mainstream Media, how many times did Super Mario Run get downloaded on the first day?

It could be because one media reporter has done it earlier than the others and it kept getting downloaded then someone else reported it. That could be the reason why, but I don't really know.

Downloaded it.

Clicked the app.

Nintendo logo appeared.

App crashed.

Yeah, looks like my 4s is too bad for this or they really do anti jailbreak shit.

Is it worth buying the other worlds for Super Mario Run?

I am interested because 3 levels for free is not enough, has anyone bought it that could give me any advice whether to buy it or not or is it in general just not worth it.

So it looks like an Android version is coming, after all:

Also, why was my previous post deleted?

Yep MarioMaster, my 4s can't handle it either. Why the fuck did I leave behind a jailbroken ios 6 for an unjailbreakable ios 9 again?

Well this game died off fairly quickly. Not that I'm surprised, don't see anyone really talking about this any more.

I tried it when I got an iPhone last month.
I found it really meh-ish.
So no more waiting for the Android version.

Not worth the 10$ IMO

I rather buy Geometry Wars Galaxy 3 dimensions evolved for Android than this.
But w/e. I don't really play mobile games.

Super Mario Run is definitely not for people who don't play mobile games that much, that's for sure.
