Unless they copypaste a botnet Trojan from the internet and change the target IP to 107.170.44.232 >_>

The method I just mentioned there is highly illegal anyways, so it's probably not even worth trying tbh

They might have more success directly hacking into the server.

Anyway, enough of this discussion. Nothing is happening and nothing will happen.

This might be a bump but I would like to add something;

This is not a "orimagi64 attack" made by "lamer orimagi64". To my understanding it was just Greeny doing a "revenge" attack on smwc. Nothing orimagi64 this orimagi64 that. orimagi64 is just a community of people from who the majority seriously couldn't care less about this whole forum war what is going on.

we aren't talking about forum wars, but note that Skelux owns orimagi64 and Greeny is a moderator there. people make the association. Greeny represents O64 in a way, and is known to have attacked SMWC, which could make O64 be seen as an enemy of SMWC.

however, I don't think K64 would be targeted as it's not involved in this, but again, you never know.

They did have a backup, but it took a bit of time to find it. All and all, only 2% ended up being "lost", and even then, some of the missing files are unnecessary and others have other versions available elsewhere. It wasn't even the main server either way, it was the FTP server the staff used for a bunch of random things along with the actual important stuff.

What's all this about? I've seen quite a few rom hack sites and I've been to both SMWCentral and orimagi64 but I've never heard of any of this kinda stuff.

There's literally a link in the first post of this thread that shows an "O64" attack to SMWC
