1. How did you do that?
2. Do you think you could get it working in the E3 demo?

1. I took the files from the E3 build and edited them with TheFourthDimension.
2. No.

Also, I made a small video on the level:

Why not? :P

Because a lot of data for objects is missing. Also, copy-pasting ObjectData files doesn't work, because the files in the E3 version use an earlier ActorInfo format.
EDIT:
Also, as a little bonus, the following screenshots show the early World 2-1 ported to the final game:

For this, I copy-pasted the old StageData files and patched the stage models. This took a while, because, you know, early ActorInfo format. :P

This is a port of Flip-Swap Galaxy from Super Mario Galaxy 2 in Super Mario 3D Land. It's almost finished. I'll release it as soon as possible! Here are some screenshots:

You need thefourthdimention.

To play them, look up homebrew & HANS or CFW.

I'd recommend the later

Just finished the Flip-Swap level. Sadly, there are no electric fences in SM3DL. Some people suggested that I should use a Blokkablock / Block Dragon instead, but it looks awful. You can download it here.

Really nice texturing, Nice colour schemes and good level design.
I liked everything that I saw except for the graphical glitches.
(but you're probably still searching for a way to get rid of those).

Question: Will this hack include some Kaizo-ish levels, that will make you go mad?
(I would really like that personally.)

As i said on gbatemp and neomariogalaxy, AMAZING HACK!! ;D

Here is my remake of Shifting Sand Land from Mario 64 :D

Older screenshoots:

It's not 100% finished yet, the models need some vertex collours and the quicksand needs to be animated, and i don't know, how to make that o.O
Also i'm searching for an idea, how to get the quicksand working, that it can push Mario to the middle. Oh and i want to add a boss, but it crashes everytime, and i don't know why :/

You shouldn't place those burners inside the wall. It looks weird. Also, the texture that you're using for the wall looks a little bit out of place.

Phenomonal remake! Especially the new bonus area, that was really creative.

But the video sucked. The audio is so weird and crappy.

I think it's actually a very good video, there's barely any lag, and it's recorded at an upscaled resolution.

The audio glitches are just a problem with Citra, and nothing can be done about it ATM, AFAIK.

Alright guys here is a demo preview of whomps fortress. It is not a precise remake as they are two different games :-)

This level contains tons of exploration though. Not everything is shown in video...

I still need to fix clipping and camera precision :D

You may give critiscism so I can make it better :D

Overall, I think it's pretty good!
I think you could replace the cog with another object used in the game.
It rotates every few seconds and is bit similar to the object used in SM64.
It can be found in Special World 7-3.
