Guard Toad: A Toad with a spear and shield, suppose to be the attacker of the group.
Snorkel Toad: A Toad who seems to be very fond of water, he almost has his snorkel on at all times, even when he is not in the water.
Mining Toad: A Toad with a Lamp on his head like the leader, except he doesn't have the other gear like the red toad's backpack. He is often seen carrying a pickaxe and digging with it.

Just ideas. :P

Well, then Polari's one should be official...?
Otherwise there really isn't much sense in 8 Toads operating a huge Starshroom and at least fifty smaller ones.

Last view: 2867 days ago 		Errm well while I like the idea of the Guard Toad, adding a Snorkel Toad and a Mining Toad are pretty bad ideas since the Green and Purple Toads already fulfill those roles.

Many times throughout SMG1 and SMG2 (mostly SMG1 though) the Purple Toad goes diving while wearing a snorkel (and is considered the "Snorkel Toad" of the group).
And the Green Toad is basically seen with a pickaxe almost every time you encounter him in a galaxy (in both SMG1 and SMG2. He IS already the Mining Toad).

So basically I don't see how the Snorkel and Mining Toads could be of any use as new members because the Purple and Green Toads already do those jobs. That would made us seem extremely lazy. So while the Guard Toad is a good idea the other ones are horrible, because frankly they already exist. :P

I have an idea for a new member. Maybe since they're Royal Guards, they found an "apprentice in training" Toad (colour not yet specified) to join them and "watch and learn". We could have it that at the beginning he really admires the Toad Brigade and thinks they're the best and stuff, but as you progress through the game and eventually see the Toad Brigade more, he finds out that they're actually not as grand as he thought and that they're just lazy, but he still tags along with them (but has realized who they really are).
He can be the "Common Sense" person of those, as he could maybe every time say something witty about how silly the Brigade's plans and thoughts are (especially the leader's) during the missions. Maybe at the end of the game, he could be promoted to Leader? (or just an official Member) :D

What do you think about this?


Also has anyone even noticed this? (apparently not for some weird reason)....
