Hi, I'm trying to make a mod for NSMB2, but I don't know how to edit the world map and title screen. Does anybody know how? |

The logo is stored in Model/Demo/title_logo.bcres You could basically create a entirely new model, but it would require NW4C. If you want it easy just open that file with Ohana3ds (the old one!) and import the 3 textures over the existing ones. Worldmaps are also models but information where the paths and level dots are is hardcoded as allways. ____________________ GitHub - YouTube - NSMBHD |

The title screen uses dv_Nohara.bcres for it's background, you can edit that background itself, but you will be unable to change what background is loaded without the use of asm hax.

Posted by jackb994 Hi! For the world map, you can change paths and other stuff with RouteEdit (https://github.com/ExplosBlue/RouteEdit), if you have some knowledge in python. and for the map music, i use smash custom music (https://smashcustommusic.net), as the map doesn't use bbid's, and the site allows you to download the songs as bcstm's with the loopback points pre-set.. For the title screen, i have 0 idea other than the logo, which is easily edited with kukki (you can download it from https://github.com/IcySon55/Kuriimu), and the music using the same method as the map music, just with the title bcstm. i hope this helped you in any way during your NSMB2 modding experience |
