Personally, for me it was one of the most disappointing Directs I have ever watched. Some highlights include:

  • Nintendo deciding to maximize revenue by shoving overpriced pieces of plastic up every franchise's ass

  • Giving Link the ability to create blocks of sand and having a train in Hyrule Warrior Legends

  • Porting Mario Maker to 3DS, which from what I understand can't even use level IDs to play other people's levels

  • A trash sequel to Mario Party: Island Tour

  • Showing Zelda 1 footage, only for it to turn to be more amiibo crap

  • Announcing an update for a 3-year old game which I'm sure no one plays anymore.

  • Using the terms "Exciting new titles", MP: Federation Force, and Sonic Boom in the same part of the presentation

  • Some nindies which look like bootleg Metroid and Megaman games

  • And of course, the thing nobody asked for; 2D Pikmin. First they ruin Metroid, now Pikmin. :/

    Thoughts?

Whenever I expect directs to be awesome, they are disappointing.

Whenever I expect directs to be disappointing, they are very disappointing.

When is Nintendo going to get out of this era of being stagnant? Give me some games I can be hyped for.

They are just stalling until the NX. Problem is, they've been stalling for over a year now and won't be done until March. At least we will know what the NX is soon enough.

This direct is OK. Better than the previous few directs, but I honestly wasn't expecting much. I'm looking forward to Mario Sports Superstars, but the rest, I don't really care about. amiibo is cool too, always looking forward to these neat little figures.

I hope Sports Superstars has a good character selection. Recently, the playable characters in the tennis and golf games have been meh.

    Looks pretty neat tho.

I think alot of us predicted MM being on the 3ds, maybe we will be able to hack it and then make custom power-ups or custom costumes, who knows.

I wouldn't mind sending a hacked level around streetpass for my own entertainment.

Lol, what if somebody sent a level through street pass and the person would play it, then it would delete all of the person's files.

What if somebody sent a level that crashed the game and booted the Homebrew Launcher ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Right, Arm9LoaderHax and Menuhax are the fastest ways of getting to the Homebrew Launcher.
