I don't see any thread discussing Clash Royale, so I guess I'll make one here. Basically, this is a mobile game available for iOS and Android and is free. You fight real time with players using a "deck" which consists of 8 different cards which are deployed as troops in the battlefield. You get chests through battle and free ones every 4 hours and you get new cards which you can use to upgrade the "cards" to level up your troops in battle, I suggest you check out the game if you haven't already, it's a pretty nice game to pick up anytime for a while but if you rage at video games a lot, then DON'T get the game!!!
So here you can talk about your clan, your decks, etc. The clan I'm in is Apache squad, the one with more than 20K trophies with our top player being Revealer, a level 10 in Legendary Arena. I'm MM393 in that clan. I'm not really a top player in Clash Royale, I'm a level 8 in Spell Valley and my high level is due to me donating a ton (600 a week usually) and upgrading all the cards I possibly can. I'm really not that successful, I was 7 trophies away from Builder's, and I'm trying to push to get up into there. Right now, the deck I use is... Lvl 5 Hog Lvl 5 Valkyrie Lvl 5 Mini Pekka Lvl 6 Fireball Lvl 8 Spear Goblins Lvl 5 Inferno Tower Lvl 7 or 8 Zap (I gotta check) Lvl 8 Fire Spirits ____________________ MusiMasta - YouTube Channel Currently 374 subs! I used to play this game a lot, and I enjoyed it to a degree, enough to get over 3000 trophies and make Legendary Arena.

(My fav card isn't Three Musketeers lol, I was using a troll deck) However, I lost a bunch of my trophies and quit the game recently because 1. Supercell is a terrible company. If they don't want you buying gems to spend on a tournament, they want you to buy gems to get legendary cards, even though you can buy a Super Magical Chest for like $30 and you might still get screwed out of a legendary. They care about how much money they are making rather than the quality of the game. 2. I can't stand fighting guys with Level 11 Commons, Level 3 Legendaries, Level 8 rares, etc. in Legendary Arena. Basically, you only fight people who have spent massive amounts of money on the game. Rarely will you ever be matched up with another level 9 who has reasonable card levels. 3. The game generally just gets boring after Legendary Arena. There's really nothing else you can do at that point. There's no goals. You either keep fighting hardcore gemmers or you drop down to low arenas to troll, like I did for a while XD |

The recent updates have been absolute crap, they added a tournament feature to let F2P players shine...EXCEPT it costs money to create tournaments. T_T On top of the other ridicolous monetization in this game, Pokemon GO kind of replaced Royale as the go to mobile game. Royale struggles to even be on the top grossing, something COC was able to sustain for a long amount of time. TC...sorry to put a damper on your mood, but you have no idea what you're in for. When you hit the paywall, don't say I didn't warn you. You'll rage when you face that Lvl 12 RG. |

Yeah, thanks for the warning. I've faced a couple of people that have paid (like having a lvl 5 witch in spell valley, though i beat that guy, he had no idea how to play the game), but so far I haven't hit that wall yet. Nevertheless, you seem pretty passionate about the game, just like I was, so I wish you good luck on getting to legendary. Just hope that you get a legendary card from a chest, it helps immensly. I got the Ice Wizard and Lumberjack AFTER I reached Legendary Arena, which kind of defeated the purpose as to why I needed them in the first place. |

Lvl 4 Prince Level 7 Giant Level 8 Hog Rider Lvl 5 Witch Lvl 4 Skeleton Army Lvl 10 Barbarians Lvl 4 Rage ? I beat him with my current deck. He liked using a Giant and a Prince right behind it, but the deck I'm using right now luckily counters all that, just placing an Inferno Tower, then Spear Gobs and Gobs to distract the prince. I'm not sure if he even used his Witch in battle, but he used all the other 7 cards for sure. And no, he isn't a troll, because his highest trophy count was only in the 1700s, and I fought him in the higher portion of Spell Valley, the 1600s. The reason why he lost is he kept trying to counter my (lvl 4 Valkyrie at the time) with a lvl 4 Skeleton Army and that Giant Prince combo. And also, he kept misusing his rage (I had already killed the giant right before he decided to play the rage spell. Otherwise, the game was pretty close. I had 200 HP on one of my side towers and he had the same amount on one of his side towers as well, a lvl 6 fireball saved the game for me. (It was because his hog did so much damage...) And he isn't the worst player I've met. One of the people in our clan is lvl 9 already and still in Spell Valley, just recently came out of Pekka's Playhouse. Has a lvl 9 knight, bunch of lvl 3 epics including the prince and mirror, etc. Though I'm not that good either, I'm have 2500/5000 EXP in lvl 8 just because I level up all the cards I can and donate like crazy. Heck, I donate around 660 a week. Oh yeah, there was that person in Pekka's that I played against and they had a freaking lvl 4 Prince and lvl 3 Balloon. I lost that match though, I was a level 7 (beginning). They were a level 9. And yeah, I am passionate about the game. The way I play mobile games is that I quit one to fully focus on the other. For example, I quit Geometry Dash just to play this (and guess what, I was about to beat Clubstep...) Also, have you ever heard of the guaranteed legendaries trick or ever tried it out? Here is a good video of it: So basically, chests come in a determined order and there is this method that some people have found working several times, that you... *Get a magical chest (only works with 2 of the 4 in the order cycle, I'm trying it out right now and hopefully have the right magical chest) *Open it *Open/win 11 silver chests from battle but do not touch the gold chests *Open 2 gold chests *Wait a minimum of 24 hours (don't even open up the app) *Open 2 free chests *Open 1 silver chest *Open 1 free chest (and that should contain legendary) But then again, some of my friends say it doesn't work, so I'm not exactly sure. Don't try the free legendaries trick
Lol. No joke, don't try it. It's false AF. Back in may (when really nobody knew if it worked or not) I actually got the 4th magical chest in the cycle, and wasted a bunch of time by trying this trick. I did everything the guide said, including not doing ANYTHING during the 24h period (didn't even open the app) And what did I get in that last free chest? Some spear goblins and a musketeer.  No Ice Wizard. Wasted a bunch of time and didn't even get what I wanted. Some people like those scamming youtubers just want to watch the world burn.
You'll notice that no matter how hard you search, you never actually find concrete evidence of someone opening that final free chest and getting that legendary, why? Because it doesn't work xD You can try it I guess, but don't get mad if you get crap like I did. |

Welp, the video was released in June, and the chest stuff actually changed a bit with that update, so maybe this trick only works now, I don't know. But I'll definitely post my results in the thread here. Anyways, yep, just opened that magical. I just hate how the magicals don't give you a ton of cards, only a few cards here and there. And sadly, I got an xbow card from that chest, rip.
And don't worry, I already raged at the game so hard that I destroyed an actual device before, and that cost me a lot of cash so I'm not raging anymore at the game.

Yep, seems like I didn't have the right magical chest for the free legendaries trick, I have to try again. :/
And the deck I am using right now actually is quite well. It is Lvl 5 Hog Lvl 5 Valk Lvl 6 Fireball Lvl 8 Gobs Lvl 8 Spear Gobs Lvl 8 Zap Lvl 5 Inferno Lvl 8 Fire Spirit Basically the deck I used above but swapping the Mini Pekka for the Goblins. It has a cheap elixir cost and so cycles really well. A couple days ago, I was at Spell Valley, but this deck has won me a string of victories (with some losses on the way) to Royal Arena, so you guys might want to try it out. ____________________ MusiMasta - YouTube Channel Currently 374 subs! I dont play Royale anymore but i'll help you with your deck based on what i know
Lvl 5 Hog - Good. My main push card. Got him to level 6 shortly afte reaching Royale Arena. Lvl 5 Valk - I suppose she's good, but IDK I have never used valks Lvl 6 Fireball - Your fireballs already level 6? that's pretty good. Another card I used. It's better than poison. Lvl 8 gobs - Meh, never used them Lvl 8 spear gobs - Thats more like it! Use these to peck at your opponents tower. Lvl 5 inferno - Id suggest you stop using it. Swap for something more versatile like cannon or mini pecca, they will help you against Royal Giants. If you use an inferno people will just zap it and reset the charge. Lvl 8 firespirit - Id suggest using a zap instead. But IDK, never used fire spirits. |

I played Clash Royale but never got that good and only reached Arena 4. Haven't played in over a month as I got busy and never got back into it. I had an incredible luck streak when I first got the game where I got 1-2 epics from only free chests daily for a little over a week but then my luck died. I used
