If Earth is getting heavier, then its force of gravity would be stronger and we'd weigh more. Oh wait...
On a serious note, Earth isn't getting heavier. Mass doesn't just vanish if you convert the raw material into a building. Law of conservation of mass... I know, the statement is supposed to be dumb, but I can't resist pointing that out. |

From what I've read, a lot of the mass we're losing are hydrogen and helium escaping to outer space. But I think in terms of more solid mass, Earth is more likely gaining those, thanks to the process of accretion when our solar system used to be a protoplanetary disk.

Welp, there is a theory that a really large asteroid hit Earth ways ago and the debris from the collision drifted off into outer space and through gravity, formed the Moon.
