Happy birthday...?

Anyway, Turkey and France seem to be common targets nowadays. :I

surprised we have had more BS like the orlando shootings in the U.S recently. :P

targets in general.

basically, they're hotspots for drama. not necessarily terrorist attacks, but just violence and crap happening everywhere.

anyway, best of luck with that

Hope your alright.

I personally hope the coup works. I am sure the military would have better control over the country than Erdogan and wouldn't talk shit like the current president does. Also, I think that this coup could probably stop a lot of terrorist attacks and make the country stop dealing with isis. FFS right now Turkey is facilitating isis, not something the military would do.

And I think this coup is useless; Erdogan isn't even present in Turkey right now...
He's currently in Mongolia, among with a couple of other world leaders.

Well guys, the Turkish military has staged a coup and is now in control of the state. There's an indefinite curfew. Fun. Not how I would've liked to spend my birthday, tbh

That really sucks, stay safe.

(Oh yes, and happy birthday.)

Might as well post it here too:
[Tahcryon] sb in turkey the military is a bit different
[Tahcryon] basically its first job is to make sure that the government doesn't stray too far towards islam
[Tahcryon] according to the constitution
[Tahcryon] basically, keep the founder of the country's vision intact
[StapleButter] oh. prevent islamism
[Tahcryon] yep

Happy bday.

Too bad the coup doesnt seem to be getting much ground. Erdogan is crazy, and I hate how the world isn't doing anything about him easing isis's survival. Religious governments are cancer, most middle eastern countries should have military presence to deny any attack and overthrow. Like Egypt, when morsi assumed power, everything went to shit, then the military took over again and now its much more peaceful.

well then.

funny how sometimes the military can run the country better than a single president.

But uh, that definitely wasn't the case in Haiti, though. Haiti is still pretty messed up to this day :P
