So, I ran chmod xxx -R / on my Linux by accident and now it's a brick, and since I formatted my USB, it no longer has the install disk on it, and my only other computer is a school issued Chromebook which I can't make a bootable USB with unless there's some online tool. I have no idea what to do... |

Posted by StapleButter Because I thought it would only format the directory I was in, I didn't realize that the su command automatically put you back at the root directory. |

Posted by StapleButter Well, the computer starts with an error, and it thinks all the system folders are files, so I can't execute hardly anything. |

You want a chrome-os pc? Thats all you are getting if you have a chromebook. My suggestion is to ask a friend/parent/someone you know to help you because otherwise you really are not getting anywhere. ____________________ Hacking LM and trying to not suck. Weeeeeeee. |
