Hey, same processor and same GFX card here. Nice.

Except I'm only using 2GB of RAM. It was 4GB but my motherboard is breaking (random bus/interconnection errors, mostly 0x124) so I had to remove one of the RAM sticks (doesn't matter which one, or which slot) to reduce the amounts of computer freezes I get.

At least I'm actually using the external graphics card now.

apparently this laptop has a Core i7 5500U @2.4GHz. not bad

it's also got 8GB of RAM, which is good.

and fancy shit like a double GPU, nVidia powerful GPU and embedded Intel crapo (and, surprise, picking the wrong one for games).

as far as the OS goes, if you know me you already know it's sticking to Windows 7. oh and there's also a Ubuntu install.

apparently this computer can be upgraded with fancy shit, like a special flat SSD (although only half-length ones fit).

I'm going to post my desktop specs here.

The desktop (tower) was bought from eBay for only $200. Its specs are:
i5-4590 @3.3 GHz
32 GB RAM DDR3
Windows 10 64 bit
Shitty Intel HD Graphics
2 flash storage units, each having 500 GB

I have a two monitor config, each digital and having a resolution of 1080p. The monitors, keyboard, mouse were from older desktops and were not included in the $200 package. I don't play a lot of games that require advanced graphics, I only play stuff like Geometry Dash or Undertale. But yes, the RAM is there for rendering and compressing stuff, because I export lots of videos. And hopefully I get a better graphics card like NVIDIA 980 or something. :)

At school they recently upgraded the desktops to
i7-67..series @3.4 GHz
8 GB RAM
Windows 10 64 bit
Shitty Intel HD Graphics

Those are the newer ones for the video production class. Of course, there are also those Intel Core Duos for other classes.
