NO IT'S BEAUTIFUL DON'T DISCARD IT

You can do whatever you want with it lol. It's a bit too bright anyway :P

Anyway here's my layout. With custom font (fallback font is Arial), Nagato in the background, scrolling layout, a Lapis Lazuli profile picture, and uhhh that's pretty much it.

Quotes are the same:

My very boring layout that I've had since sometime in late 2013 or early 2014.

Yay.

Insert something useful here.

Alright, I toned down the planet on the bottom as well as cropped a part of it.

I also managed to reduce the water tower.

How is it now?

Does the brightness still gets in the way?

I don't see how its boring.

I like the BG picture you used. As well the orange provides a good contrast.

Not much really. Perhaps maybe that the image is a bit distracting on the text.
Try to reduce the opacity on the purple textbox area?
(Also bonus points for that avatar :3)

Okay, I fiddled around with my layout more, copied code from my RVLution post layout that I previously copied from my layout on another side and now we have Sumireko Usami gazing at you on the right side. She's always centered at the post as well, so there's no escaping her stare. Unless you block my layout, of course. :P

//Oh look, it's code
//Or actually, just comments. :P

Oh look, it's a quote. Or is it? Did someone actually say this somewhere? If not, it's not a quote, is it?

Aside from that, the layout is largely unchanged. The spellcard div is still very hacky and very buggy though, because apparently Kuribo64 dislikes usage of display:table; as copying the working code from my RVLution layout doesn't work at all and cuts off the image.

Regardless, what do you think of the overall design?

Cute girls are ALWAYS a plus.

Have you ever thought of a transparent post box?

8.5/10

It's actually kinda visually appealing and I don't pay any attention to the show that the background is from. Aside from some tiling dumbness that's probably only visible on my GIGANTIC screen, it's pretty decent. 7/10

I have, but...meh. the background is not a painting after all, so no need to fully see it.

New post layout, this time it's fancy :D
int main(int argc, char *argv[])
{
while (true)
{
eatWaffles();
}
I made the footer by extracting the textures from NSMB2 in this file using EFE:
Model/Distant_View/dv_Nohara.bcres
So, this is what I had to work with, bar the PSD file:
[thumbnail]
When you turn up the 3D in-game, the fuzzy version of each texture is used.

The level that you see in front of everything is the beginning of 1-1 in Coinkiller, without the sprites.

This is the result of putting all of that together with Photoshop :D

Maybe the admins deleted it? This is just a guess.

Fun fact: My layout's images use less than 30KB of space. It's mainly the custom font (Merriweather) that slows down the load time a bit, but I feel like the layout looks way better with it. The images were taken from Sonic CD. I tried using matching colors while still making the post readable. All of the text has a shadow property that surrounds it and when hovering over links the shadow makes a very neat effect.

Link. Bold. Italics. Bold and Italics. Underline. nope Did I do a good job?

Spoiled!
<sarcasm>Totally awesome code that totally exists.</sarcasm>

Normal quote.

The mountains repeat horizontally and always stick to the bottom of the layout. The sky will repeat endlessly behind it. Both effects happen regardless of the screen resolution.

It's still there.

However, the format you have was for blargboard.

Acmlm board uses a different format, hence why your layout broke when the switch was made and it doesn't appear anymore.

yep, customizable sidebars were removed because they caused more issues than they were worth

(a lot of it was people being uncreative and just slapping a fixed background on their whole post table, resulting in the same ugly crap everywhere)

Ported mine directly from RVLution. Just took it from the stamp background in 3D World, and the Mario at the bottom, I couldn't have done it without RanAS. Anyhow, the Mario here and the Mario at RVLution are the only real differences. Oh, and I like the spoiler button more at RVLution.
