Wireless mice don't work too bad, and are pretty much your only option if you have a computer hooked up to your massive TV

For a computer on a desk though it would just make more sense to stick to wired so you have no chance of having a connection problem or a dying battery

Wireless gaming mice are my preference.

I use a Logitech G602 with my laptop, and I'm very happy with it.

Just, if you're on Linux, don't expect to customize the buttons on any Logitech gaming mouse, the software used to do it is Windows/Mac exclusive. I tried doing it my self (Remapping), and it ended up screwing up the number keys on my keyboard :P

I don't get why people use them especially when gaming because if it runs out of charge and you have no batteries your fucked.

A decent gaming mouse has a pretty long battery life, and you'll know when the batteries are running out a while before they are unusable.

EDIT: (I didn't take into account that desktop users don't have a track pad :P)

running out of batteries during online gaming would be as bad as trying to play via Shit Telecom

Oh you mean Smash?

I know for a fact Smash 3ds has issues with certain Wifi spots. Battles don't work at some places while Spectator mode works basically everywhere.

"Spectator mode works basically everywhere"

Spectator isn't actually live, it's actually battles that have already happened. So you're basically watching a replay.

And lag is one of the many reasons I don't play online.

I don't think I've ever had significant problems with lag while playing Brawl or Smash U

Never played that much online though, primarily because I suck at the game and IMO Smash 4 just feels too much like Brawl for me to squeeze a whole lot of enjoyment out of it for more than a few days

Especially because I spent months upon months playing around with a USB Gecko on Brawl, lol

You mean For Glory.

I use Anther's Ladders now, because FG is a joke.

And you can actually improve on Anther's Ladders.

Also, I haven't had much issues. I usually can play fine with my 2mb internet :>

What's a good speed of internet for gaming? Mine is about 18 Mb/s. It works but has quite some lag at random times.

Also, how do you fix your internet connection randomly not working? This has been pestering me for the last year and a half.

Honestly, if you have more than 1Mbps down and up, gaming shouldn't be a problem. No game uses more than 64tick/Hz servers. So you don't need much in terms of bandwidth. Now, lag is usually caused by high ping or fluctuations in speed. That's a problem, and having all the bandwidth in the world won't solve it. Usually, if connecting directly through a ethernet cable doesn't fix it, then the problem is your ISP or the server you're connected to, but if no one else is having a problem, it's your ISP. CSGO is really good for measuring what is wrong. Using the net_graph 1 command, you can see what your ping is, and how much it is varying by, letting you conclude that your ISP is either good or shit.

Fixing that internet connection not working, check if it's your router, try restarting it, usually routers just fail after a few months, maybe its cache is full, restart it. If that doesn't fix it, check if you can get drivers for your wifi adapter on your computer. If THAT doesn't fix it, then it might be time to get a new router or wireless adapter. (This is all assuming you aren't connected via LAN)

what I do is just unplug the router then plug it back, then it starts working again

I don't like playing Smash online because it heavily relies on precise input. Whenever I play online, it feels like my inputs are on molasses and my character reacts very sluggishly. And it teaches you a bad habit, because you adjust to it and thus face a disadvantage against others who play without online.
