Last view: 1089 days ago 		Agent000 - That post (now deleted) was actually for Super Mario Galaxy (World 7) I apologize for putting it here (clicking too fast). Will there be a part of the level not in the void (Where you actually play)? I have a track, which you may have heard before (Bowser's Galaxy Destroyer) that is getting finished (better quality) by someone else whom I sent the Midi to. I do like the idea of "Calm before the Storm" but I think a really epic track (like mine) will fit quite well in the level before you enter the void. And another suggestion - this is for the Programmers. Maybe using a retextured version of the background Planet from Haunty Halls Galaxy will be a great entrance to the Void.

It's very good! Try to define the downbeats better throughout, particularly at the part starting at 1:25. I was distracted at several points by the tempo being rather muddled. And also give yours a slightly stronger beginning.

This makes it very hard to choose between yours and Blaz's (though I am starting to notice that Blaz's piece sounds rather similar to the final level theme in SMG1, so yours being original is a plus.)

Last view: 1089 days ago 		i agree, the tempo was a bit cluttered at the climax. I tried very hard to fix this, but with the range and the attack (it is a high part), I had to go with the flow. Overall, it's not much of a problem at all. Did you see I mentioned you in the video? :P

As far as the bassline, I think I made the melody a bit too overpowering and put the tuba and horn parts too far in the background. Instead, I will make the melody not very noticeable until the choir kicks in.
