Posted by Yami What does this have to do with it being good for screenshots? |

Because back in the Windows XP days, you were required to paste your Screenshots in MS Paint, if you wanted to save them.
Nowadays, that's no longer the case, as when you press Print Screen, it should immediately give you a "Save as" window (or you can use a 3rd Party Screenshot App). That's something Microsoft stole from Linux. Then OS X has an even easier option: CMD + Shift + 3 = Screenshot saved to the Desktop. No "Save as" window, and no need to paste it anywhere, because why should you even bother? |

I don't want it to spam screenshots over my desktop, though... I'd rather have it ask me where I want it saved
an advantage to pasting it in Paint is that you can also crop it before saving it (for example if you want to hide your taskbar or your YouPorn tabs...) ____________________ NSMBHD - Kafuka - Jul melonDS the most fruity DS emulator there is zafkflzdasd |

It wasn't.
I use 10. Sometimes however, you just need to take a quick screenshot. I have a Greenshot set to work with my own server and it works great, but having Paint still is nice at times. ____________________ |

Posted by Anthe Oh, okay. Wait a second...why don't they just include both editors? They already include 2 image viewers, 2 media players, 2 internet browsers, etc., so is it really that much of a stretch? ._. |

Posted by Yami Meh, I can never remember that combo. They should implement a key + save as instead of a convoluted hotkey thing like that. At least Linux did it before Wind'ohs did. |

Another random piece of information: Multiple desktops were planned for Longhorn back in 2003. They even worked pretty well in build 3683, from what I've seen, so Idk why it took them 12 years to add that to an RTM OS .-. |

I just purchased a copy of Windows 7 because I am not impressed with Windows 10's performance. |

Posted by ElyosOfTheAbyss Woah, you can still buy it? O: Also...does that mean you didn't think to use the free downgrade option within the 30-day trial period? .-. |

Didn't that require windows.old folder? because I already deleted it because I did a reset to get the Disk Drive to work and to see if it would improve performance. |

Worth to note: Freeing up disk space doesn't automatically give you better performance, but it will give you more disk space.
Removing the Windows.old Folder will void your ability to Downgrade, indeed. |

I final downgraded to windows 7. Took me two installs, and to think I would be stuck with Ubuntu. |

Are Arisotura and I the only ones here who feel that Windows 10 is a downgrade?

Eh, I don't care much, actually. If it gets too bad, I'll just switch to Linux. ____________________ MKDS Hacking & Modding Discord: https://discordapp.com/invite/CAktUYP |

Now I'm getting kinda mad. I've got a Lenovo Edge Laptop and every time I lock it, put it in sleep mode, and reopen the lid, it just doesn't turn on. They keyboard lights up but the screen is black and doesn't do anything. I end up having to just restart my computer and loose all progress I had on anything. (though Notepadd++ and Google Chrome save your progress, so it's not that bad)
Another thing is all the startup programs. I disabled a tone of random crap I had (like Steam, Spotify, and Discord), and they keep appearing. Hitting the disable should disable it. Edit: I found this in the startup folder. Microsoft thinks they're clever. // This space and this script // intentionally blankish. // ExtendScript haiku. |
