Oh, wait that was photoshop?

EDIT: Did some research, and I found out it's not photoshop, are you serious Microsoft?

Mine was Photoshopped, just because I wanted to make a parody.
Splitwirez's Screenshot is legit.

You don't even need Photoshop when MS Paint does its job quite nicely. :)

I know, I just wanted to place them correctly, which is easier to do with Layers.
And yet, I failed to position the text properly...

Yeah, that's basically my theory on why Windows 8 and 10 are so hideous - they didn't want to pay for Photoshop anymore, so they used their own image editor instead ._.

Why can't Microsoft get rid of their shitty MS Paint and just make Paint.net come pre-installed in every machine instead.

MS Paint might be garbage, but it's still serviceable for quick image edits or meme shit

Besides, unlike Paint.NET, you don't require any special knowledge to use MS Paint.

What

literally anything you can do in MSpaint can be done just as easily in Paint.NET , plus you can do lots of other things if you do have that special knowledge, so there's literally no downside ._.

MS Paint is overhated.

Yeah it's not that great but it's usable and with enough effort you could make some decent drawings.

Yeah but I really hate its limited options, sometimes. For starters, I hate its complete lack of transparency support. I often us MS Paint to make sprites (as I like how lightweight and simple it is to create dots on the screen) and the total lack of real transparency bothered me. I also enjoy uploading sprites to MarioWiki, and sprites with white backgrounds have no practical use there. Or anywhere for that matter.

I remember Windows XP MS Paint had like, only up to three undos and that pissed me off a lot when I wanted to test animations via piling sprite frames on top of each other and redoing and undoing all of it. At least Windows 7 added more undos than XP's version of it.

I can live the lack of layer support it has, because no layers isn't a big deal with sprite creation, but it should also give more zoom options so I can work in sprites in closer quarters and definitely some transparency aside from you getting transparency when moving sprites around only when your secondary color is the same color as the background.

MS Paint was never meant to do the things you wish to do with it. Just use an actual image editing tool for your purposes. Paint is nice for screenshots or quickly converting an image.

MS Paint is surprisingly great for spriting.

It's really easy to move pixels around in MS Paint compared to every other advanced programs. If you need to shift the eyes lower, just move the pixels, no need to cut and paste and create new layers in the process. While the lack of layers is a bit of a letdown, I still think getting good lineart for your sprites is accomplished best in MS Paint.

That's just Photoshop, not non-MSpaint image editors in general .-.

Sorry, but I can't agree with this, the lack of being able to give it a transparent Background still makes it useless.
In fact, I've been re-creating some Sprites from SFC Games in Adobe Illustrator.
The nice part is, since it creates Vector Art, I can make Sprites any size I want, without any quality loss.
