It's caused by a bug. Because when the sprites are created, some values, including the sprite data, are never set, which causes them to be random garbage.

Oh, okay thanks! :D

Somehow, IIRC, I created a level using CK w/ a new zone. I saved it, went to the tileset editor and edited some stuff, went back to my level, and the whole tileset was gone but the sprites were still in place. Is that a bug?

They don't?
Seems like Reggie's SARC parser doesn't like the SARCs created by CoinKiller. The 3DS likes them, tho. So no need to do anything there.

Looks like I might have made a mistake. Pipe Cannons works fine now! :)
Its annoying that it doesn't work with Reggie though because I use it for editing sprites. (Which CK can't do atm)

You will be able to edit them tomorrow :3

And no, the SARC parser will not be changed because Reggie isn't able to open them.

Hey MarioMaster, when would the tileset selector via level editing possibly be implemented?

EDIT: I think the reason the tilesets deleted in the level in CK was because I set them via Reggie

When will we be able to edit area settings and other areas?

Area Settings: You are already able to do so.

Selecting tilesets: It's kinda finished to be commited, just some minor tweaks left.

Edit other areas: I have to think about a good possibility to do so, because I like being able to have multiple areas open at the same time.

Edit: And I can answer all other "when will we be able to ..." questions with "when I have enogh time and want to".

Just a very minor bug, but when you minimize the level creation window when its in fullscreen, when you open it again, it shrinks back down to normal size. Also, CK is missing a sprite image for the grounded piranha plant when its upside down.

Also, the castle doesn't turn black and the flag doesn't turn red when you select "secret" on the flag, even though the secret version's sprite images are in the data folder.

I made a pull request that adds sprite images for the Blooper Nanny, Spike Top, Bullet Bill and Banzai Bill in both gold and non-gold, and an upside down Grounded Piranha Plant. I accidentally made the backgrounds white though, so that would have to be fixed.

It's nice that you'd like to help with this, but whithout a fixed point, where the sprite is located the images are useless.
Also they should be taken at the first frame, you enter the level and the gold variations are not realy needed.

Not at all. All sprites we have at the moment are in the described quality, so why should we break that standards?

Also I already said that most of your images are useless, because there is no fixed point.

And tbh I wouldn't like to make a level and allways see a Banzai Bill which is misplaced and alleays appears ingame at other spots, would you?
