Looking at the picture that KoopaKingdom posted, I realized the errors came from only having visual studio 11.0 (the 2012 version) on my laptop. I tried installing 2015, but both the online and offline installers give errors, and an hour of troubleshooting online returned nothing. I'll just wait for somebody else to post a build (for now).

Thanks, shame you can't edit entrances yet, but at least you can move them. Anyone have an idea on how much more is needed to implement the ability to edit the properties of stuff?

Well, it depends on, how much time I'll invest the next days/weeks. I think I'll need at least 2 weeks to implement the option to edit stuff.

I suggest you practice for a while, although I can say that Qt bears some resemblance to the Java APIs

when you feel that you're ready, grab Coinkiller's code from Github, get QtDesigner, then go nuts

you can send a pull request when you're done, which we will approve if we find it good

Will stage music editing be possible in the future? As in editing the song that plays

maybe, but probably not with Coinkiller

a de-bahp tool would be cool though

I managed to create a looping track for the worldmap with some tool for the Wii and converted it into the 3DS format. In stages it froze tho, probably caused by the bahp points.

You can alo now the area settings:

(The bottom-left tab widget will be a tileset selector)

By tileset selector you mean selecting what type of level right? as in Overworld, sand, castle etc

RicBent

Yep.

Actually there are 4 tileset slots. One for pipes, ? Blocks etc, one for the sage stuff like grass and two more for stuff like tileset additions and rails for platfors or additional decorations.

I don't know if this is normal or not but I edited level 1-1 and went to test it. When I started flying I got a few blocks off the floor then died because the camera went up.

For me everything works fine. Also custom entrances work flawlessly.

Have you set camera x/y to some value or maybe deleted the entrance with ID 0? :P
