I found it, but it looks like I need to fill out some kind of form to download.

I'm trying to compile too, but the Qt IDE gives 2 build errors, and won't build:

C:\Users\Admin\Documents\CoinKiller-master-3\CoinKiller-master\sarcfilesystem.cpp:173: error: C2440: '=' : cannot convert from 'SarcFilesystem::InternalSarcFile' to 'SarcFilesystem::InternalSarcFile *'
No user-defined-conversion operator available that can perform this conversion, or the operator cannot be called

C:\Users\Admin\Documents\CoinKiller-master-3\CoinKiller-master\sarcfilesystem.cpp:207: error: C2440: 'initializing' : cannot convert from 'SarcFilesystem::InternalSarcFile' to 'SarcFilesystem::InternalSarcFile *'
No user-defined-conversion operator available that can perform this conversion, or the operator cannot be called

well, blarg (untested WIP code, it happens)

also, code tags would have been much better than spoilers there

Oops, sorry about the spoiler tags. Anyways, is there anything that I could do to fix it?

wait for another revision maybe (or modify the code)

I implemented a very basic tileset editor:

The code is still a bit crapo, but at least something :)

This gets the GalladeGuy seal of approval. I'm actually working on a tileset editor myself.

of course

and I guess you also have a level editor that you had finished before even the game was released?

What's the point of saying that? You're just being rude. You don't have to walk up and try your best to disprove every single thing I say. I know you're the owner of the site but that doesn't mean you can go out of your way to annoy the members. People have a lot of respect for you. I don't think you want to lose that.

I was about to go retrieve some posts to prove my point, but it seems you decided to take the easy way out and delete them

I'm going to take the easy way out too; enjoy your ban

(also: doing so achieves nothing, we staff can still retrieve them or undelete them)

for future reference: GalladeGuy was trying to discredit our work by claiming he had already done it months ago (custom mushroom, etc), it's in this thread

and now, surprise, he's making a tileset editor too

he gets banned because instead of atleast being honest about it, he decides to be a coward and try to hide it

I undeleted the posts, I figured it'd speak by itself

Nice findings, Mariomaster! However, I'm curious how tiles behave when using the noteblock behaviour, does the actual block itself bounce when hit or does it use a separate entity like the blocks in the original NSMB?

Arisotura
Posted on 01-28-16 11:14 PM Link | #67349
dunno, but from what I could see, some noteblocks are 'normal' blocks while others are sprites for whatever reason
