So we started putting up Christmas decorations.

Felt like trying something different than the typical 'Christmas lights' banner. Hope you'll like it. There may also be a special theme to go with it eventually.

In our house, the Christmas tree is also up. Might post pics of it, it's pretty nice (when it's not ruined by derpo cats :P ).

In the meantime, towns have also put up Christmas decorations.

Christmas pile of shit. Not sure what it's supposed to be. It looks like a Christmas tree, but it's white and not green.

I'm also still getting the advent calendar, I admit... for the chocolate. This year we got some with fine chocolate inside. It's pretty good! ^_^

What about you guys?

I have to admit, that I never was a big fan of that christmas stuff.

It's nice when all your family comes togerher and you celebrate together, but for many people it's just about getting presents and going onto the Cristmas Market to drink mulled wine.
I'm frustrated when going to school and there are already at least 10 people there and eating sausages and drinking that mulled wine. That's not christmas.

But it look's like most people like it how that is :(

Hoping for a Wii U this time. It has a good enough game library now. Other than that, not sure what I'm doing.

I don't think so, those LED things don't consume much power, you'd need a ton of them to make for a big power bill

This is a picture of my tree that I also showed on the thread I made on RVLution:

It's a huge tree, therefore I wasn't able to get the entire tree :P
My father also went to the Sunday Christmas party and got 4 rolls of Christmas lights that we plan to decorate our porch with. There's not much Christmas decorations used in our house this year though...

Funny thing is that I live in a neighborhood with a large Indian presence, so basically there are Christmas lights starting in the second week of November (cuz of Diwali) through New Years. However, because my family is lazy, we aren't doing any of that.

Be the non-lazy one! :P

This year I took initiative and placed some decoration outside.

And I won't have a Christmas Tree at all.
I don't have a religion, and my children are both to young to understand what "Christmas" means, anyway.

We're Hindu (although that mostly just means my parents drag me to the temple once a month) and that hasn't stopped us.
