Here is where you can post your custom content for NSMB2. (Levels, Tilesets, Music, etc.)

Here is a video of me "testing" one of my custom levels. Note that this was test level and that the spike balls currently do not move.

I was a bit bored, so I made a recreation of NSMB DS 1-1 (only Area 1):

Made a custom level :)
Download here
Pics: (later)

Origins:

In anticipation of Mario Maker, I downloaded Reggie for NSMBW and started making some levels. I abandoned it two weeks later due to the release of Mario Maker. I plan to port the levels once SMM gets slopes, but for now, I'm porting them to NSMB2. I completed 2 levels, here is one of them, slightly hindered by limitations of Reggie NSMB2, but still complete. I'll update it when coinkiller gets released. The other will be ported with coin killer, because it's really freaking complex (not really) and I don't want to use Reggie for it, due to lack of zones and entrances. I'll probably make some levels from scratch instead.

Name of the hack would have been NoThisIsStupider's New Super Mario Bros. Wii (creative I know) in case you're wondering. Might reboot it in NSMB2.

Is there a guide somewhere to load these custom levels from a retail cart?
Or how to make levels?

Would like to mess around it, and perhaps help document sprite data stuff, like in the old NSMBDS days.

Finally, here's my third NSMB2 custom level. This time, a mountain themed level. It's even recorded in better quality!

Here's another custom NSMB2 level. It's a grassland level w/ subtle water.

[vidme]https://vid.me/HF2u[/vidme]

(I figured out in time that I fooled w/ a nybble from the Pipe Piranha Plant and didn't notice, so it turned out to be the Bone Pipe Piranha Plant.)

EDIT: Nevermind, It was just a separate sprite.

Which nybble was that?

If somebody cares, here is the download link for my Mountain Level: https://kuribo64.net/get.php?id=CfdB2DSHj4WsLxGO

Also here are a few screens of my next level (These grey rails look shitty, also the 3d effect is broken if background suite stuff is painted on stage suite tiles):

Can you explain this 3D effect problem?

RicBent

The rails (layer 1) seem to be behind the walls on layer 2 (Where the bottommost Fuzzy is).

Hmm. Nintendo did something like that in 4-10.

Oh I see what's wrong.

Nintendo set the rails as background suite. I as interactive.
