Here I'll post a list of every custom level I've created in SMG1 and SMG2...yay!

Ghostly Blocks Galaxy [SMG2, November 2015]

A small level that I've created in 4 hours. The level contains 4 stars: A normal one, a pseudo comet and 2 green stars.

Snowship Galaxy [SMG2, August 2015, Coming Soon!]

A remake of my first (released) custom level "Frozen Airship Galaxy". There's a lot of new stuff to see in this remake. I'll have to fix a few bugs before I'll release this level!

Snapping Squares Galaxy [SMG2, August 2015]

This is one of my first "custom" levels that I've worked on back in June 2014, before I joined K64. It's a port of Space Junk Galaxy's final zone where you had to collect five silver stars.
I've decided to finish it while working on another new level called Snowship Galaxy.
The galaxy was going to appear in NMG, but with a completely new design. Splitwirez came up with the name.

Sunshine Mario Galaxy [SMG2, March 2015]

[thumbnail][thumbnail]
Sunshine Mario Galaxy is a small project I started when NMG's developement reached its highest point. The plan was to import levels from Super Mario Sunshine. The current version contains three galaxies.

Space Junk Galaxy: Cosmic Comet [SMG1, February 2015]

Too many video embeds in this post!
Gameplay recorded by GalaxyHacker

This small hack for SMG1 replaces Space Junk's Speedy Comet with its unused Cosmic Comet.

Comet Observatory [SMG2, January 2015, Coming Soon!]

I didn't forget about this one. It's almost finished!

Frozen Airship Galaxy & Death Storm Galaxy [SMG2, July 2014]

My first two (released) galaxies were Frozen Airship Galaxy and Death Storm Galaxy (I know, the names are bad xD).

These are my first custom levels, so don't expect too much! :P

Unreleased

Wow, there are a lot of unreleased levels...
For example Yoshi Speedway Galaxy. I created this one before Frozen Airship Galaxy! The galaxy features Yoshi and the Dash Pepper. Now, the player needs to avoid enemies and obstacles that are placed on the way to the Power Star.
Flipswitch Galaxy is the only galaxy which is completely finished. Maybe I'll release this one...
  • Yoshi Speedway Galaxy [June 2014]
  • Torpedo Depths Galaxy [June 2014]
  • Garden Trails Galaxy / Cherry Chomp Galaxy [August 2014]
  • Crystal Cave Galaxy [August 2014]
  • Sweet Chocolate Galaxy / Chocolate Challenge Galaxy [August 2014]
  • Space Greens / Galactic Apex [August 2014]
  • Galactic Greens [August 2014]
  • Crabby Cove Galaxy [September 2014]
  • Flipswitch Galaxy [September 2014]
  • Flip Flip Galaxy [September 2014]
  • Gelato Greens Galaxy [January 2015]

  • Honey Hills Galaxy [February 2015]
  • Terror Trials Galaxy [July 2015]
  • Magma Belt Galaxy [August 2015]
  • Beep Box Galaxy (Early Ghostly Blocks Galaxy) [November 2015]

Oh, nice. I think I'm going to play these levels. It will be the first time I'm doing anything with SMG for a long time. I've always waited for the Comet Observatory level, and now I will get the chance to play it. Too bad, I don't do anything with SMG anymore.

It's not finished yet. I still have to add text for NPCs...well I can do a version without the NPCs so you can just explore it without any crashes...

Splendid! I always wondered what happened to that Comet Observatory level, and it's nice to see that there's even more to look forward to!
Status: It was really, really fun, guys - thanks for the ride!

I have no time to finish Snowship Galaxy at the moment because I'm busy with school.
Sorry guys. :|

I recently discovered some screeshots of some (old) galaxies that I've made.
Here are some examples:
[thumbnail]

The first one is a shitty test map. I think I've released a version of this one in June 2014. IIRC the name of this galaxy was Testing-Out Galaxy or just Testing Galaxy.

Screenshot 2 shows the oldest version of Snapping Squares Galaxy. It was a direct port of Space Junk's final zone. I added a few star chips, Ice Swoopers and more Space Junk blocks. I think this is one of my worst levels. xD

The last one was going to be something big: A newer and better version of Death Storm Galaxy! MAYBE I'll finish it if I have the time.

Hi! I'm new to the hacking scene if you guys don't know and I'd like to know if I could have some help. I'm importing a Starman Fortress Galaxy using the original planet files from SMG1. I can't play it on my Wii so I used that Wii Partition Builder to compile a separate ISO to play it on. Everything on it works fine except the galaxy I imported over. The star select works fine but whenever I try to play the star mission I get a bunch of CPU-related errors (a couple of hundred or so) in the form of popups. If I say no to the error box or spam enter to get rid of them, dolphin stopped working. May you guys kindly help?

Jsut add the planet from SMG1 to SMG2 and create the galaxy in SMG2. SMG1 uses a older and different level format. There's information on how to do this stuff in the SMG hacking archive and on my website.

Thank you for your help. I'll try it and see if it works.
EDIT: Exactly where is the SMG Hacking Archive? (link?)

It's not a different level format, it just has different sections. The format is not different.
