I am trying out different stuff in Whitehole, and I'm wondering how object IDs/object arguments work, and also about what the different event types do and how they are used.

And what do I need to set on a powerup to have it not inside a crystal when it spawns?

a) Check the Object Database
b) Ditto

EDIT: How did I not notice that it had been ported already?? O.o

Could someone explain how to set up a camera for a pipe that instantly moves to the location the pipe places Mario? Like normally, the camera would quickly scroll over to where the pipe is going, but in some places like Rightside Down Galaxy, the camera instantly pops up to the location.

You need to assign it a camera. Check it's camera in Rightside Down. :)

Is it possible to view Japanese/Korean languages Super Mario Galaxy BMG files?
The game looks like it has lots of unused text, but it was removed from the EUR English text. I suspect it is present in the Japanese version though.

You'll have to find the specific ISO for that region, and extract them.

Yeah, but Idon't want to download any big file without knowing: can any of the tools that can view/convert BMG, view Japanese or Korean, or only the USA and EUR languages?

Okay I got it working MrRean.

New question: In some zones in galaxies, whenever I add an object in whitehole, the object appears in a different location than where I clicked. This doesn't happen in all zones, but in a few, and I would like to know why and if I can fix it.

Open up the ____Map.arc in Anarchy, and go to Placement > StageObjInfo or something with 'Stage' in it, and change the coordinates to your preferred location. (or 0,0,0 if you're lazy.)

Turns out that all(?) the unused strings are blank in JPN Japanese as well. Unlikely that they will be present in any of the localisations.

I added a camera with a sufficient CameraArea to go along with it, but when I step into that area in the game nothing happens, really all the information I can provide, help?

depends, I once also added a camera for a round planet, but it only worked around the 0,0,0 point. I guess thats why zones exist.
