Alternatively, you could rip the ISO and extract the contents using Dolphin.

Extract it with WIT. The dol will be in /sys/main.dol

We can't give it to you since it is copyrighted material and illegal to share.

For some reason, it can't get passed the wiimote screen. Does my folder have everything?

I extracted the ISO using WIT. The ISO I extracted the files from works in dolphin when I open the ISO.

Also, I can't find a way to customize the per-game settings for games that are loaded with this method.

Its the US version, if that helps. From some random ISO from the web. I guess the files might be bad? I'll would try the EUR version files dumped from my disc, if there way a way to dump the DOL and apploader as well.

I'm not really sure. I don't get past the Wiimote screen either in New Super Mario Bros Wii.. You might wanna try Dolphiilution out with Super Mario Galaxy (without patching). It uses the same trick.
