I've been playing SMS on dolphin lately so i can mod it Which i obviously can't do with my disk,

But i've been getting poor FPS, I turned on all the FPS boost options, but they didn't change anything, still getting 17 - 20 fps, and rarely 29, anyway i can increase my FPS? Specs:

Processor: intel(R) Celeron(r) CPU N2815 @ 1.86GHz 1.86 GHz

Installed memory (RAM) 4.00 GB (3.8.7 GB usable)

System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor,

If it's important, it's a windows 8.1 laptop,

Any advice is welcome,

(Also, i can't "Buy a better computer" At the moment,So please don't say that.)

Unfortunately, upgrading your computer seems like it's your best option, there probably isn't much else you could do to speed it up with specs like that.

Try using these settings.

Replace C:\Users\Username\Documents\Dolphin Emulator\Config\Dolphin.ini with that file.
I'm using version 4.0-5991 on Windows 8.1, so the settings should work.

Tried it out, I get 30 - 31 on the file select, 30 during cut scenes, 10 - 11 in game.

Don't expect any great performance out of an Intel Celeron. You can't magically make hardware better.

Get dolphin-4.0-win32 and keep the default settings.

It runs Project M full speed on Windows 7.

Haven't tested it on any other games or computers yet though.
