Can't think of many mountain or snow based obstacles for a long slide...
Then again, if Star 1 was going up the mountain, maybe, if Star 2 is the slide, Star 2 can be short segments of slide seperated by platforming: going back down.

Hmmm....An awful lot of our designs seem to be placing the level on the ground which isn't that SMG-like. Is this going to be floating in a cloud background or something, with the rounded NSMB-peaks in the background?

Last view: 1089 days ago 		Mountains are usually made of snow, but what if this mountain was only made of ice? I personally prefer ice over snow. In most video games, the ice controls are garbage, but in SMG/SMG2, they work great. In fact, ice skating is pretty fun.

No, we have a lot of them either not made or using planets.
also, SMG had a lot of planets that were flat pieces of land. It's not "on the ground" at all
