Except when I go after people, I have valid reasons.

But you... With your skills, there are many cool things you could do, like that webcomic idea I suggested to you a while ago. But no, you're too lazy to do anything other than posting posting posting. Oh, and going after everyone for whatever silly reasons, just so you can feel superior to them. But quite honestly, you're mostly useless to this community, and I'd have no regrets permabanning you.

It's like ask threads at NSMBHD. You kept bitching about how everyone made ask threads, but you also made a ton of them.

So basically, shove your own shit up your ass. Either you smoke or you protest against tobacco, but you don't do both unless you want to look like a complete idiot. This is a metaphor, but you damn well get the point.

If you want to be cool, you achieve it by working your way upwards, not by trying to pull everyone down.

I don't think so at all. $1000 for a shit specced laptop where you can get the same specs onto a $500 asus/acer laptop is disgusting

Exactly.

Macs are overpriced for just that silly Apple logo.
Building a PC with the same price of a Mac will net you one thats atleast twice or more powerful.

The only reason I ever seen getting a mac is to develop on iOS.
Better make a hackintosh maybe in the end, but I will never pay the price Apple is asking.

Still, developing for android is much easier now that it's just java and the android studio sdk is out and easy to use.

Honestly, developing for Android is a big mess. So many screen sizes and just generally confusing. And it's not just my opinion :p

Might be. But now that I learned objective c, or use xcode, is loads easier than Android as of now.

As Anthe said, developing for android is a big mess lol.

Still, at least one can use Android Studio on any of the 3 OS and doest requires you to buy an overpriced PC (xcode :v)

If atleast Macs were something special, but no. They're fucking plain PCs. You can even run Windows on them. You can get an equivalent setup for less money. They have no reason to be so expensive other than the brand.

Actually, the difference is that you don't really need to install an antivirus on OS X. Other than that, it's just a different OS so it's the same as Windows/Linux/Darkside/etc.

Yeah, but for whatever reason, the home computer has viruses whereas my Mac does not. And I think there is at least some sort of antivirus software preinstalled in Macs (which will then be rendered vulnerable if you hack your own Mac) but it's just not as sophisticated.

According to an analysis about a year ago, Windows' market share was still nearly 90%, while OS X's wasn't quite at 10%. If I were a virus writer, I think I'd be going after the majority system that contains end-users who are likely to get viruses. You may not need antivirus software on OS X or Linux, but many Windows users find the same thing is generally applicable, though it's a good safety net due to my first point. Every OS has vulnerabilities in its components. As for your other point, I don't think they contain built-in antivirus software, and what does "hack your own Mac" mean?

That's not the PC's fault, thats the fault of the people using it. TBH, I haven't encountered a single virus or malware on my pc since i built it (2 years ago), and if my antivirus ever caught something, it would be stopped. (im using avg btw)

While AS works fine.

Well to be fair that can happen to any pc or anything with a camera. But yea I cant believe people use the pretext of macs being safer than windows, it is such a lie.

Most people believe Apple is secure. It really isn't. I mean, iCloud was hacked, there are jailbreaks, and even Apple's supposedly “secure” ApplePay got hacked as well.

Yet, people still buy Steve Jobs' $699.99 iPhone, and $1,099 iMac.

Exactly. No computer system can be considered totally secure, but of course Apple won't convince as many customers by saying "Macs are targeted by viruses less frequently than Windows PCs!" They have to lie about it, and sadly this sways a lot of people who don't know better.
