I just kinda got a thought about having Town Square threads. Not that I'm telling anyone to change anything, this is just something I realized.

Like, you have the whole General Chat forum for general discussion, but it everyone is always redirected to the Town Square if they make a thread just a fraction too small their threads get locked and they are pointed here. What's the point of having this forum if there's only one thread that's active in it for the most part (and also shares almost half the posts in that forum for that matter)?

This thought also kind of applies to the Site help, bug reports, and suggestions forum also. There's two threads in it for what the entire section is about. (bleh and bluh)

General is about anything, but Relaxland is the border. Relaxland is mostly low-moderated, but more 'fun' while this is more intelligent conversation.

But the Town Square is mostly for picking up a conversation without making a new thread for it.

You make a thread if you want to discuss something for longer than two posts.

The town square is good for posting whatever is on your mind, but that can get drowned pretty quick.

Well, I'm leaving for Belgium tomorrow, and I'll be staying there for 8 days. It kind of sucks though, this was the last 'long' break of the semester and I can't spend it being a lazy shit like usual.

That's actually nicer than being stuck at home doing usual stuff.
I'm in a 4 day weekend now, and then there'll be nothing, no holidays at all until I finish school. 3 months. argh.

Well, we have Easter Holidays here in Germany now. However...while we were in Dubai, there was a Scarlet Weather Rhapsody going on here. Neverending storms, snow, rain, heavy wind, trees torn asunder and blocking the highways etc. etc. When we arrived at the airport, there...was a rather heavy snow storm and the day after it was cloudy and the day after that it was sunny. And today it's cloudy again. They should rename April to Tenshi or Tenko.

Background info to this post. Touhou Hisouten ~ Scarlet Weather Rhapsody is a Touhou fighting game in which weather plays a big role. The weather has effects on the battles and changes based on the character's temperament. Aya causes tempests, Yuyuko causes snow and Reimu calls the sun forth, all mid-summer. The one behind all this is Tenshi "Tenko" Hinanawi, a celestial. She says she did it all because of boredom. Her own weather is aurora and during her last spell, it changes to twilight. Not sure how that is weather but OK.

It's so nice to not have any snow anymore. I like how theres no snow, but theres no insects either, and the weather is just perfect sometimes, between 15 - 20ºC, even though right now its between -5 - 5ºC

Aaaand its snowing again...

We rarely get snow where I am, though for some reason my area has a thing for deciding to hail at the least expected times. It once hailed in the middle of June with really no rain surrounding it... :p

Hail mostly happens in the middle of summer though.

Can anyone here give me advice for getting a girl to like me? There's this one really cute girl that I like but I don't really know how to approach her and not mess up the conversation.

The best advice I could give would be to not approach her at all. If there's one thing I have learned from my experiences, it's that if you're socially awkward, no matter what you do, you'll be fucked over tenfold with sprinkles as soon as emotions play even the smallest role. I've never had good experiences with things such as love. They obstruct my thoughts, keep me from being able to concentrate properly and in a nutshell just put me in a worse shape for school or non-school related projects than any disease. Sure, you're not me, but you wanted advice. What's that? You wanted good advice? Well, you should've said so, tsk.

Yea, dont listen to this guy ^

I personally try to not like anyone, same reason as ^, clouds judgment and also do worse in school for some reason.

Anyway, you probably dont wanna ask here. One tip I'll give you, don't tell anyone, specially not one of those talk-much'ers, cause they'll fucking make a huge deal and fk up your best shot.

Just curious, how old are you? It might impact the advice I'd give you.

Better not do that unless you're friends with her. It'd come off as weird otherwise.

I've been friends with here since 6th grade. She finds me funny at times which is good. I also sometimes try a little to hard.

if you try too hard and she still laughs, then you got her ;D
