We got LCD monitors for our computers quite early iirc.

Our TV has been a massive 16:9 CRT for quite a while, though.

remember these? These were very shitty but we had to use them because the projectors now didn't exist.

My math teacher used one last year. The lightbulb was weird in it so some days it would look tinted purple or blue.

Hah, my whole middle school and high school.

They are never seen anymore here now, though.

Yeah, there's a lot of them in my electronics class. The blub would go out and it would scare all of us, heh.

In college, the administrators unfortunately block websites. I usually bring my laptop with me, but once, I forgot, and used a school-owned one. I remember I got so pissed at the limitations, and performed a security loophole I found with CMD.

Of course, they found out, and I was sent to two Saturday detentions. It was worth it though. I liked changing my profile freely, and browse the Internet without restrictions. Plus, I modified the accounts of others to my own liking. After this incident, I always asked myself before I went to college if I carried my laptop, and my phone, in case I couldn't access something in the school's Wi-Fi. :P

(Totally not a bump. Plz dont ban me. :P )

Ha, in 6th grade I once renamed a folder to "Mario and Luigi" and I almost got in huge trouble for it. I've also messed around with various documents people would save, heh.

I've never been brave enough to screw around with people's files... :P

If anything I've snooped through some of my friends' files a little bit, but that's it.

Now deleting others' shit is being an asshole. Unless the people in question were assholes to you, in that case it's quite a legit revenge imo :P

Atleast here this shit is properly secured. You can't even browse other people's folders.

Hah, elementary/middle schools. They love putting you in a ton of trouble if you don't fit your mold perfectly.

At our school we're starting to use Google Drive and such for everything. Really convenient actually, it's one of the only decent things Google has right now. :P

The only problem is nobody really knows how to use it. If you manage to share a file with someone as group work it's basically all chaos from that point on. Sometimes the teachers share news articles (badly) pasted into Docs files to everyone to comment in. Fucking insanity.

Well, I've met some guy, who went all the way like, "I have done all Microsoft Certificates, I've successfully completed University about ICT with ease, and I know Linux as my own thumb".
Then I said, "Okay, then what does "ls -hal" do, in Linux?", did you know, he had no clue?

Additionally, that same guy literally thought, that "Error 404" can mean any PC-related Error.
No, idiot, 404 literally means, "PAGE NOT FOUND", and it's Web-related!

In my computer science class, we all bring laptops. In my other classes like English and Physics, half the class bring their own laptops, and the other half gets "chromebooks", which the school bought. They bought like 200 or so for the whole school, and teachers borrow the cart that contains all of them. They are nice and small, the only problems are that the touchpad is shit, so whenever I use them I plug in my mouse, and that its been touched by anyone else in the school, IDK why that bothers me so much...

I don't think the IT people at my school even know what they are doing because there is a random chance of you getting control panel and over stuff like that.
