Well im in the great land of Canada, meaning... yeah... not much... It's in march here, right before spring. Thats why we cant call it a spring break.

There was a solar eclipse here in Germany. The sun was crescent-shaped. I have nice pictures of it...somewhere... :D

I saw the eclipse as well, during school break. One of my classmates brought about five or six light filters, so we could actually watch it. Though it wasn't really all that interesting to be honest and IIRC the next full eclipse will be 2080 or 81. :(

Fuck, I slept through it.

The weather is being lame around here anyway so I wouldn't have seen much.

There will be another sun eclipse in 2021/22.
Here's a picture of the sun eclipse. I was too lazy to translate everything into English :P

Eh? I was referring to the next full solar eclipse visible from Germany.

As for the picture, I guess the words are pretty self-explanatory anyway. For anyone who doesn't know anyway:
Mond = Moon
Sonne = Sun
Reflektion = Reflection
Korona = Corona/Aureole

Looks nice though. Funnily enough, our teachers warned us not to look at the solar eclipse with the naked eye - it wasn't visible that way anyway. And I suppose it's common sense not to stare at the sun. Unless, of course, you need to PRAISE THE SUN. :P

We didn't look into the sun. We took one of those filters and placed it in front of the camera.

I figured, someone at our school did the same. That statement was a different context.

Dammit, missed it. Well, It was in Germany, so wouldn't have caught it anyway.
Here's a good video about eclipses that explains how they happen in detail, if anyone didn't know yet.

I've been watching CrashCourse a lot in the past few years. The Chemistry videos are specially helpful.

There was somebody who built a pipe with a filter and camera inside. The pictures he/she took were nice.
EDIT: Shit, got ninja'd.

Fuck that shit. >_< What if you do have a mental illness? If you don't mind being able to defend yourself from being beat up, just say to your classmates "Who are you?"

Or, do as I did when I was in elementary and contact a counselor or something in your school. They'll stop, you might lose out on some "friends" but its worth it.

IDK what it is, when people turn 14 or so, they get smarter and they stop bullying, they aren't as mean, so that's probably why I never found myself in these situations in High School, compared to almost all the time in Middle School.

And also, remember that some places, bullying is more frowned upon than others. For example, here in Canada, Bullying is a crime, meanwhile, back in Argentina, no one gives a shit.

The black spot there is the best stop to watch it. It passed perfectly in the arctic sea, so no one could watch it :P
And us not in Europe had no chance of watching it at all

Actually, for humans not living in the sea, it looks like it was best visible on the Faroe Islands (that little green spot between the UK and Iceland).
