I meant using the SMG castle, but make the interior a modernized version of the SM64 Castle.

Actually, the castle isn't finished, the entire back is gone, so I would rather remake the SMG model from scratch.

This level can have many planets about different Mario games. We could use that SMB1 level that Martboo created. Then at the end is a star launcher to the next planet(which could be SMB2). If this works, will we need shy guys and those objects you use to pick up and throw?

I don't think we should do anything of the sort. This level celebrates super mario GALAXY, and it should be original and amazing

Uh, what? I don't see SM64 here. If you are refering to and comparing the epicness of SM64 levels, then yes, we should use inspiration from thise levels (particularly Dire, Dire Docks and Bowser in the Dark World). There should be planet reflecting various themes (like Good Egg galaxy had various themes). There could be a planetoid that has grass, bones, and sand on it, and you must use Tweesters or Galactic Tornados to go to the next planet: a HomePlanet-like and Planet Plains-like planet. This planet has holes that you fall through, green disappearing tiles, and Water Shooters.

It's CANON, not cannon :P
Also what do you mean with "we want canon?" (BTW Did you know that both Luigi's Mansion and the Mario & Luigi series are both canon to the 3D Mario series? YES It's confirmed :3)

Anyway this galaxy should involve: both a 2D AND 3D Linear platform obstacle section (like the SM64 Bowser Levels) and a 3D Open section in my opinion :3

I personally think we should usecsome deserts in this galaxy. Not the entite galaxy, just a few planets.

EDIT: Possibly a pipe maze in this galaxy?

Look, I feel like that we haven't actually come up with any sort of theme with this galaxy. I mean, we're talking about whitehot so we know it's a fire/lava type level, we're talking about Shrapnel Sandbar so we know it's a sand/factory theme. Well, what is this?

I want this galaxy to be extremely difficult but also visually appealing (Opposite of grandmaster). It needs beautiful planets and such. For the castle, we COULD (if possible) make that the mini staff roll level. Like, instead of boring credits, you're walking around Peach's castle, exploring rooms that could be personalized for each staff member. We could each design our own room, perhaps? Oh, and to make it easier, we could have the same effect that was used in the smg2 staff roll, which was fading from one room to another. Therefore, you would transition from room to room

Yes, exactly. Deserts are bit underused, so a couple planets could use the theme. The deserts should look beautiful. We should use pristine white sand with a blue pyramid that had a golden top. The blue pyramid could look like it is seemingly blending in with a blue-sky background. Also, add cacti with multi-colored flowers. If the pyramid is explored, the interior walls should be decorated with gold and fresco paintings.

Deserts are so underused? Ever played ANY nsmb game and reached world 2?
Anyway, it might be cool to throw together a bunch of random themes into one galaxy. Desert, fire, beach, ice, etc.

I forgot to specify that it is this hack has few deserts. And I personally think fire and ice should only be used in a small areas. Mechanization is also used a lot in this hack. Maybe more wood could work here, as long ad it is visually appealing.

I just thought about having revolving planets with black holes inside if them. A rotating oval planet made of bricks could be modeled. There would also be the electric fences on the planet.

EDIT: Think of this planet as being shaped sort of like a chimney.
