It's back.

No, it's still not finished.

No, it's not going fast. Not my top project at all. But I had some inspiration, so uh.

A recap of the previous post, for those who value their sanity and don't feel like digging into RVLution.

Screenshots of the update. Nothing too fancy. Also, screenshots are within Reggie!. I'm lazy.

First part, revised to integrate the pipe better.

What comes next. Nothing too fancy.

Had some inspiration and just built this part. Still pretty bland. Could use some decoration, items, enemies, whatnot.

Nothing past that. And that's only what, half the length of 1-1. Hah, me.

As I said, I did. But, you know, I left that place.

Oh.

All you need are some enemies, decorations, powerups, and difficulty.

All you need [is] some [...] difficulty.

What does this even mean?

Just my opinions. If you're talking about the difficulty part thingy, like make some challenges to get star coins and stuff.

Sorry

This level is replacing 1-1, so it shouldn't be Kaizo hard either. But yeah, needs more enemies.

In the meantime, I made the design a bit more interesting, and designed another bit of level.

I also solved the camera position issues entirely. Removed the scroll stop sprites, raised the view's bottom limit, and repositioned the secret warp at the beginning so it yields the desired effect-- starting transition only when Mario is completely offscreen.

Why am I under the impression that you'll create something more out of this? o_O

I'd like to atleast finish this level. And upload a video of it.

So this won't go in my 'failed projects' list.

Now, with all the time it takes me to make one single level, don't expect a full-blown hack project.

Maybe you could be a level designer for NSMBW hacks.

Are there any actual projects remaining? From what I've seen, all the guys who had hack projects let them rot to concentrate on making pointless boards.

Meh, you see how RVLution and NSMBW hacking in general are going.

NSMBW hacking would need some new blood.

What do you mean by new blood? Like actual people who can pull off a hack?

Something new and cool, that would attract more people.

Maybe Mario Maker will be that new blood.

We should go to Nintendo as a group and ask for the source code! :D

Where's Skawo's dead 3D map creator?
