I don't know yet, replacing Koopa the Quick with Il Pantissimo would be a low priority - it would make no real difference to getting that star.

Well, unless you hacked the speed he goes at; he's painfully slow, indeed, but making it a more close race could add a bit to it.

Could you add a link to download all you have so far, like, i'm not asking you to put a download every time you have an update, but as you already finished Isle Delfino when we first create a profile, i would like to try that by myself (probably other people as well).

Edit: Changed my mind, i don't know if you already made FLUDD work but when FLUDD is finished i (and many people more probably) want to try it.

Correct. If I released as I went along, everyone would've played practically the whole game by the time it was released. What'd be the point?

Right, sorry i didn't thought about that. By the way does the FLUDD works until now? Im curious of how it is going to be on the DS since i never did really had the oportunity to play the game (i did played it on Dolphin but with a lot of lag witch made it almost unplayable).

I have F.L.U.D.D. working very well with the Hover, Rocket and Turbo nozzles however in order to get it to work in my hack I need to add the ability to the editor to convert imported models to use triangle strips instead of writing everything as individual triangles. At the minute my custom levels crash when using F.L.U.D.D. because of the models's sizes. (All of Nintendo's models have been compressed to use triangle strips where they can.)

When using individual triangles, n triangles require 3n vertex commands however with a triangle strip it only requires (n + 2) vertex commands. Converting models to use triangle strips where possible would greatly reduce the size of the models and would allow me to fit more in a level.

If that doesn't work though I don't see how I could get F.L.U.D.D. in.

I forgot if this had been mentioned before, but is F.L.U.D.D going to be a power-up (similar to, say one of the bro's caps, where you touch it and it grants you their powers and appearance), or be permanently attached to Mario throughout the entire game?
That is, if everything works out well with F.L.U.D.D.

Look for neighbor triangles that share vertices (positions and attributes). Well yeah... easier said than done.

You also aren't limited to triangle strips. The hardware also supports triangle fans, quads, and some more fancy shit.

It will be available to Mario only, has to be because it's attached to his model. I haven't decided how it will be activated yet, at the minute all three are available together for testing however it would trivial to require each nozzle or the whole thing be activated as a power-up.

Yeah, I've found that out myself! I'm trying to implement a basic SGI algorithm but am having trouble with rotating triangles to match, hopefully will be sorted soon though.

I'm not sure if this would work or if this is even a good idea but is it possible for each character to have a different nozzle? Or maybe make it so when Mario collects Luigi's cap he stays Mario but gets a different nozzle by swapping Luigi's model with Mario? Or would that make some weird taller skinnier Mario?

I don't think I'd be able to add the base of F.L.U.D.D. to each of the character models without my custom levels crashing.

I got the triangle stripping upon import working (see 'Editor Development' thread for latest version of SM64DSe) and importing the updated Mario and custom level models as triangle strips does allow F.L.U.D.D. to work in my levels :)
