That's ia a aborted Yoshi game for GBA (Port of Yoshi's Story). This game is sample game of the GBA SDK 3.0,
with & without sound.

Oh wow, this is actually pretty cool

Alot better looking than Yoshi's Story on the 64 imo. And quite impressive to see what the Gameboy is capable of!

Woah, I'm curious what's necessary to compile it? Does it output a GBA cartridge? Or has no one yet found a way to compile?

GBA SDK 3.0, is a complete Gameboy Advance IDE. And the compiler from GBA SDK can compile it.
As final format you have: *.bin. Rename to .gba, and you have the GBA game.

I knew this existed, but I did not know that you could actually download it :P
Time to download it and see if it works on TempGBA emulator for the SuperCard DSTwo

Edit: I have NO clue how to compile it :( Can somebody PM me a link to the compiled ROM of the sound version?

The game works 100% on Visualboyadvance.
I'll test it on a Ez-Flash IV.

It works 100% on TempGBA (Super Card DSTwo Emulator)!
Does it work on any other flashcard/emulator is what I am wondering....

Yes, but I'm sad, wherefore Nintendo have stopped the development for GBA. Also Sample Yoshi should actually a Yoshi Story port for GBA.

It's not a port.

It is just a demo, a sample.

It was a port. But aborted by Nintendo.
It's only a quick sample on the SDK.

There is no evidence to suggest it was intented to become a full port.

There is evidence on the contrary: it is in a GBA development kit's sample folder.
