By the way, looking at the screens again, could you use gradiented masks on the edges of those minimaps, so they nicely blend into the bg?

I've already asked on GBAtemp but got no response and realise I probably won't here:
Is there anyone with experience with 3DS Max that would be willing to help get a model for a custom boss exported. It has to be 3DS Max as I'm using the MaxBMD plugin to import GameCube BMD models and specifically version 6 as I need to be able to use the Nitro SDK plugins. More details are here.

Edit: Nevermind, someone answered my question. Looks like I should be able to get it imported but I'll have to add an importer for the Nitro Intermediate formats first. I could use DAE but the Nitro SDK formats are more suitable.

I'm sorry but only 3DS Max? I can't it's too expensive for me.

I don't need help anymore, I just needed to know how to do something in 3DS Max and someone's answered my question on GBAtemp. It has to be 3DS Max because that's the only way to import BMD (GC) models with their bones and animations intact (MaxBMD plugin).

Yes, though it'll have to be quite different from the original as the original relied heavily on F.L.U.D.D.

No. I had been able to import the model and have Mario hover with the water appearing whilst hovering but it only worked in the original game levels as the levels used in this hack have a very high polygon count and the new Mario model was just too detailed and the level would crash.

Hey hello all, I've been swarming around Kuribo64 for quite a while now (although I forgot registering an account here, derp), I've been watching your Super Mario Sunshine DS progress on Youtube for like a couple of months ago. What you've made so far is pretty impressive, I like how the first levels ever imported have such big textures, while the latest ones actually look very nice and more enjoyable to look it, gotta love how everyone can improve in their work, keep up the good work!

I also have been wondering about one thing though. Since Super Mario 64 DS had a multiplayer function, are you going to modify the multiplayer features a bit, or completely remove it?? (Same question about the mini games btw.)

Hi. Multiplayer will be removed as it doesn't work on modified ROM's due to a signature check failure (I believe). I think Skelux may be trying to fix that issue but I doubt he'd share it with anyone.

The minigames will remain as before.
