It's not so much creating the files as it is getting the game to run it. The problem with using SimpleMapObj is that it doesn't support anything fancy. Importing it as a planet might get texture animations working, but...

How do I export it as a planet?

RailMoveObj supports BTKs, that's for sure.

Isn't RailMoveObj for platforms? Should I just rename a BTK to "MyModel" or do I need to do something with the code?

Yes, RailMoveObj is for platforms. And if the BTK is going to work, then renaming it is enough. Probably won't work, mind you.

No, I'm not going to do your experiment. I might do it out of my own curiosity, mind you. Emphasis on might.

Okay. A thing I wonder is how the BTK can just do so the sand, poison, water or lava move. How is this possible. Or is it so it work?

Imagine a computer screen displaying a series of horizontal stripes, which are moving up the screen. Same idea as BTK animations.

That needed a metaphor? Wow.

I mean if I rename a BTK file to MyModel, how can only the lava/poison/water/quicksand get an animation?

Interesting discussion...

Oh. Materials. When you texture a planet in SketchUp, you're actually applying a material, with a texture assigned to it. Get it now?
