Hi! I'm making my first galaxy, and I want to know, how far can I go with detail? Does my galaxy (it's under construction and has only 2 planets for now) right model quality, or mayby it's more like Wii U quality?

Here are links to images:

Well the models themselves don't need to be THAT detailed, because you can just add flowers and everything during creation.

Thanks! I know I can add ingame elements- and I was creating it with minding it. I was just worried about performance.

That look's pretty cool. I hope the level works ;)

Keep in mind that even though it looks smooth in Sketchup because you applied a modifier, that's not the way it'll look in-game. None of that transfers over, it's just plain old polygons.

Looks like i'll have to SOMEHOW trim model quality - Sketchup just started to lag :/

EDIT: Disabled profile lines, and again it's working smoothly, but I don't think that this model could be handled even on high-level emulator (I can't say on Wii)...

EDIT:

Edges 21750
Faces 9651
Triangles 18724
Doesn't sound too much.

Yeah, that should be fine.

Just remember, textures are also very important, as they add life to model you've created. Lots of textures make all the difference. Not that, you need tons of textures, just it'll look more Wii U quality ;)
