Post level designs for star 1 specifically.

I suggest a silver star hunt, but with clues for where the silver stars are, 'cuz it would be hell to find 5 Mario-sized objects on a giant island.

I suggest riddles or NPCs hinting it, or leading you from one to the next
EDIT: Confusing wording. Basically there are 2 choices. Riddles on a signboard or NPCs hinting at a location like in the first planet of SMG1 with the star bunnies

Shiprock Galaxy

Design of the galaxy: This is more remiscent of Coastline Cavern then Lunar Lagoon or Sunken Satellite. They are both bright and cheery beach galaxies that share the same music, but have a big element that isn't necessarily water. As Coastline Cavern has a vast cave. Shiprock has a giant Ship crashed onto the galaxy's biggest rock. It's been there for centuries, ever since the Piantas remember. And yes, did I say Piantas? I ment it, Piantas will be returning in this galaxy as the main NPCs. One geometrical difference between this galaxy and Coastline Cavern is that while Coastline Cavern's watersides are pretty small, this is a vast and deep waterside with beautiful Waterfalls pouring down. This galaxy's ocean is like Beach Bowl's multiplied by 3. Surrounding the Watersides of the galaxy is pure glass, like Beach Bowl.

Shiprock Star 1

Treasure aboard the Sunken Ship

Enemies:
Cheep-Cheeps
Gringills
Skeeters
Urchins
Clams
Spiny Hermits
Twirlips
and StarBags

Power-Ups:
Koopa Shell

NPCs:
Piantas
Sign Boards

!Argh! Can't finish the design now, it'll be done later.

I thought it wasn't a sunken ship, just a ship with a crew of Toads who crashed their ship onto a tropical island or something like that.

0.o A glass bowl holding the ocean? That doesn't make any sense, since a ship crashing into it would've caused a giant web of cracks to appear all over the glass and cause a bunch of areas to break :P

...I think.

EDIT: I'm a Cobrat, childrean :3

It's supposed to be like Beach Bowl, or we could just have a giant sand barrier as a Dam.

When I think of that crashed ship, I always think of the Titanic in the Dr. Who episode Voyage of the Damned (A spaceship called the Titanic gets hit by meteors, robots in the ship kill the humans, people jump into incinerators...Great episode ^.^)

How did the ship get there? Did a hole in time and space appear and crash that ship into the Shiprock Galaxy?

On second thought, glass sounds good. Just don't forget to include a web of cracks around the ship :P

The water's end isn't gonna be THAT close to the ship. No cracks.

I already told you, nobody knows how long the ship has been there or how it got there.

Well, it's just nice to think of scenarios for how the ship got there :P

@NWP- Oh, ok.

Yeah, the Ship will be crashed on a big rock in the middle of the giant water bowl.

Oh, I see, we are not using lugmillord's design for this...

Nope, if he doesn't want to move to Kuribo with us, his design will be trashed.

That's kinda jerkish :P

He's probably busy with RL. He also never said that he never wanted to move to Kuribo :P

Well, he disappeared a few days after he got his job, just like Yoshiller.

No. That makes no sense whatsoever. Trash a good design because he isn't here? Yoshiller did a lot for publicity on YouTube, and does that make him irrelevant? Glem3 had to leave for a bit, does that make everything he ever did not matter?

Let's just focus on what can be done in a combination with this design and the concept art.

^ Couldn't have said it better myself.

Plus, at least lugmillord tried to contribute. Unlike those 500 or so people wanting to be advertiser so they could feel important.

Why would making a member who ACTUALLY did something irrelevant because he didn't make the move? It doesn't make sense at all. His design was one of the best we got since the trailer and it was approved so we should focus on making that and maybe making some slight modifications to it instead of trashing it completely.

Also about the ship, this is Mario, therefore we don't need a good reason to have the ship crashed. If we do anything regarding the crashed ship we could modify the ship some to make it look more like an airship.

If we are going that route, I really liked the airship's look from NSMBW and not so much from SMG1/2. Plus we will have to remake the ship from scratch, we may as well, considering how much we are editing it.

I suggest making the airships bigger. The ones in SMG were so small >_<
