Well I attempted in adding a brand new galaxy, but there's a problem.

It does require ASM, and yes, I already got the ASM portion done with it but there's a bigger problem.

PowerStarID is hardcoded, causing the new galaxy to crash. When this problem occurs with an existing galaxy, you just look up the original PowerStarIDs and it instantly works. Not here, though. Why? There is no original galaxy to look up to.

I guess you could trial and error for the PowerSarIDs, but that would be heavily time consuming. That is, unless if there was no 'original' PowerStarID, then it wouldn't work-period.

How does one trial and error with reading an executable's code? That's what "hardcoded" means. It's all part of main.dol, and in order to do anything we'd need to figure out what controls it and patch it.

Does it crash on the World Map or Scenario Select?

The World Map, when you go near the galaxy. The debug from it points to the PowerStarID, so yeah. That's what needs to be figured out.
