"This level's visuals are very important, as we really want to wow players right when they get into the first galaxy. As for the feel, I'd like a more SMG1 feel for this level, so deeper in space, no bright sky. This is a galactic power star stronghold that has been broken into, so obviously there should be some debris and whatnot. I'd be really interested to see what ideas for the actual stronghold look like, so please anyone interested show your art!"
It just feels like this should be going for a negative feel.. ____________________

Wait, that's just me being stupid at school. I meant peaceful visuals, not necessarily the story. I'm imagining a giant crystal palace or building or something, and inside is where all teh magic happens. About the rubble part, the story about that could be after it was attacked, some of the crystal tumbled to the ground and started growing and spreading on it's own. Inside the place, all the power stars could be encased in crystals to preserve them. This concept reminds me alot of the Gateway Galaxy. I was thinking we'd go for something like that (in that it isn't a happy cheery galaxy bot not a negative and depressing one either).
Also maybe the music could be this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=94H23_Waar8? I realize that it sounds alot like Sky Station (then again it's a BETA version of it DUR), but to me it sounds alot better than Sky Station and it's a nice reference to the original Beta music. But this should only be used in my opinion if we're for some weird reason go with the cheerful Good Egg Galaxy/Gusty Garden theme for this galaxy ____________________ Former SMG2.5 Advertiser and one-time Level Designer/Artist - So Apparently Norway is rich while Denmark and Sweden are happy.
