Hi guys

Some days ago I posted a thread about the "Stone House Galaxy"

Whats about it?

I continued the work on this galaxy, but I dont get some things right. For example the shading (using different textures for every shading brought whitehole to crash. Every time I am using more than five textures per object/planet whitehole crashs, too)

The next problem was I cant change the star/level names of the galaxys.

When I am able to fix these problems, I will try to upload a demo of the Stone House Galaxy!)

In the meantime I started up a new galaxy. For this galaxy I used the "Good Egg"-theme from SMG1. Dont look at the textures, theire awful, but they remind me of the beta planets from SMG1, and I want to bring these kind of planets back. (GOOD story, 100 points!!!) This galaxy contains mainly the blue pull stars.

Here are some sreenshoots:

About the shading of 'Stone House Galaxy', if you're using blender you can use vertex colors. To actually export an .OBJ with vertex colors you need to install a special plug-in to blender which can be found somewhere on here. Also, vertex colors doesn't show up in whitehole. I might be wrong since I've never tried making custom levels myself.

Also, looks pretty nice :)

This looks really nice! If there's one complaint I have, it's that unused planets typically feature either Placeholder Checkerboards:

or extremely finished-looking textures:

whereas your planets appear to be somewhere in the middle. Also, most SMG1 planets can be imported into SMG2 by patching in the files and (often this step isn't even necessary) adding an entry to the PlanetMapDataTable. Just know that some unused planets will need to be renamed (arc and its contents) before they will appear in SMG2. Here: http://tcrf.net/Super_Mario_Galaxy is a documentation of all the unused stuff in SMG1. Unused planets are a sub-page. and here: http://tcrf.net/Super_Mario_Galaxy_2 is one for SMG2 (nowhere near as many unused planets in SMG2 though). The Leftover objects section is not entirely accurate, so experiment if you need SMG1 objects.

Are the level done now or how much is left?
