I don't understand what your point is. The ROM I hacked was the standard European ROM. Are you asking why I dddn't allow access to other levels? If so, it's because they're not related to the demo. It's only to give an idea of what can be done, it's not a full hack.

i didn't said that, i'm talking about what putting some limits will make the demo be more like an... demo, don't put attention to what i've said, this is an awesome demo, i saw what you've put too much effort to make it.

It is not difficult to make your own patch BlackYoshi485.

Y'nkow what? Somebody should make Banjo a playable character in SM64DS. That would be amazing!

Uhh...what does this have to do with this topic?

By the way, Fiachra, is the model of the Deku Link directly ripped from Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask or you designed it by yourself?

I've linked to the model used in the first post - it was ripped by Zerox on models-resource.com from the original game. I had to modify it to make it work properly though.

The ground texture doesn't look all that great, but that Deku Link model and the enemy models look amazing!

I don't understand your question. If it's not related to this topic and is just general SM64DS hacking, it should be asked here.

How do you make custom character models?

For the old version (used in this demo), see here, for the newer method using DAE, see here and here.

That is really awesome! That's probably the most impressive hack I've seen, it's the only one I've seen of an SM64DS character having its model replaced. I'm just wondering though, are SM64DSE and NSMBE the only programs you used to make this? P.s It's me WarioMasterofGarlic (aka Russmarrs2 from youtube) but I had to get a new account since I forgot my password.

NSMBe wasn't used here. SM64DSe was used to import the custom character and level models but you can't create the models with it. I used Blender for editing the models and GIMP for working with the textures.

Thanks, also, do I just import Mario's models from the 3d model exporter in SM64DSE? Because when I first exported his head I couldn't see it when I replaced and reimported the model back into SM64dse

EDIT: I figured out the size problem I was having, although I still have an error that I posted on the help topic

So, after seeing this, I was wondering (I know really nothing about model hacking), but would it be possible to make a kirby model and swap it with any of the characters? I was wondering, because the shapes of the characters obviously vary, and I was hoping maybe there is a way to "remove" pieces of a model? Like say, the head, then make the body spherical?
